well I'm a total rock-brat and I used to love to listen to my music turned WAY up...bass and all...but when I got pregnant with my first I started turning it down. Buy a belly band! its an elastic band that goes around your waste and covers the button and zipper so you dont have to button them! They are really comfy and just look like a cami or undershirt when wearing them :) saves you alot of money so you dont have to buy new jeans!

Day 26 here, feeling pretty good! still have some risidual crappola, but all in all, feeling better than I have in years, and looking forward tot he next couple of weeks when it gets better. Anyway, what I have been doing is watching like a ton of TV of course, who doesn't in this situation, right? I think they once did a study on the effects of music on plants and they found that the one that was in the best condition was the plant that was in the room with classical music. The second best plant was the one in the room with no music and the one that didn't do so good was the one in the room with rock music. The plant that had rock music bent away from the speakers and died young. I know too that music that is soothing and cheerful can make a depressed person feel better.

To: GSD Lol your right its Sawyer Brown. If my memory serves me correctly they did not start out as a country band. In the beginning it was hard rock and roll. It wasn't until their later years they switched over.

That seemed to help but I know now after doing some research that it was quite a bad idea. About a week ago I was having band practice (Im in a rock band by the way) and the levels of the instruments were turned up a little louder than usual. I actually purchased some disposable foam ear plugs but not being used to the sound blockage I couldn't really hear the other instruments that well and I had them in about half way still letting harmful levels in.

Hi ladies. I am 5w4d and cannot sleep!! Last week I slept like a rock for at least 10 hrs straight (which never happens). The last 3 nights, even though I am exhausted, I cannot seem to fall asleep, and when I finally do, I can't stay asleep! I have 3 boy's and do not remember having this trouble during my 1st trimester with any of them. Thoughts?!? Suggestions?!
