How can you better describe them? Are they a pale/white or are they dark? Are they only under your tongue, or are they throughout your mouth? Have you noticed any other changes in skin coloration (pigment) anywhere else on your body?? I would DEFINITELY get a second opinion and even a third before jumping to any conclusions that this is cancer; there are many disorders & conditions that can cause lesions in the mouth, especially lupus.
A small flap of skin under my tongue seems to be clogged(with fluid and puss) and enlarged. Perhaps this is a secretion gland? Is this something serious?
I believe it is puss because I did manage to squeeze a white substance out of it. i also tried to puncture it to drain the fluid, but it did not drain.
I, too have a bump under my tongue. It is right on the skin that connects my tongue to my lower jaw, so when i move my tongue, it hurts. It started recently, and has been recurring on and off. However, this morning it was at its fullest and largest size. It appears to be clear, with some sort of transparent fluid inside. It hurts when I eat, for it involved tongue movement. I do not smoke, chew tobacco, or anything of the sort, nor have I ever. Looking at it, it has gotten MUCH bigger over time.

I noticed a bump smaller than a BB under my tongue and pointed it out to my dentist when I went in for my check up today. She'd done my yearly full jaw x-rays plus the 4 bite wings and said there is no calcification and that this is a tiny clogged salivary gland most probably just thick stuff. She also said it's soft and rolls around and is down where the salivary glands are located.
She told me it might remain the same or go away.

Since mid April I noticed some small brown spots under my breast. No pain or itching. As the months have gone by, there are more and more in clusters. I now have the spots in my arm pits and vulva. I am on the 3 different cream and nothing is helping. The other development is my tongue is white like yeast but tested negative. I have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics and yeast infection pills, mouth rinse. Still there.
A couple of days ago I noticed what felt like a flap of skin underneath my tongue. I tongued it for a day or two and then finally looked at it in the mirror and it was a small growth which is whiter on top. It's closer to the bottom of my mouth than to the frenilum (or whatever that muscle is that connects your tongue to the bottom of your mouth), but its still on the muscle. I can't help tonguing it, which may be irritating it.
I have a very small white bump about the size of the tip of an ink pen (ink end) that is very hard but does not heart. It has turned tongue color over the past few months but a white granny mole skin tag has appeared directly under the tongue at about the same place and is sore because it is located next to the vein under the tongue and is over consistently. Does this sound like an issue from my sinus issues or cancer of the tongue?

Hope this helps...until I found this website, I was a bit freaked out when my mother asked me to look into her mouth!
My symptoms were reccurent mild geographic tongue on the tip and lateral side(never last more than 4 days) and also red patch under my tongue not sore at all, it feel like the lesion were inside the tongue skin. Never had any other hiv specific symptoms. I'm so affraid cuz i never experienced such things before. Can hiv do something like that cuz they said that hiv symptom differ from each other.
I am just getting over a cold and during the cold I noticed an ulcer or cold sore ontop of my tongue for a few days. Now when I look under my tongue I have what looks like a peice of shin hanging down it is sore and hangs down about 1/8 of an inch. My friends son has developed a lump under his tongue which is painful and has put him off his food hence weight loss. She lives in Indonesia where medical care is costly and does not appear to be up to the standards you would expect. He has been prescribed a steroid ointment (for topical use only ?????) which has reduced the size of the lump but it then returns when the ointment is not used. I have suggested she ask her GP to undertake blood tests fbc ue b12 folate but after that I am at a loss.
Putting a Xanax tab under your tongue will help get it into your system a bit faster, but it still takes awhile for it to dissolve.
I have found that chewing the tablet, (which takes nerves of steel because of the taste) into a fine powder, mixing it with your saliva then put that under your tongue for a few seconds, then swallow it.
Please be aware that even this method will not stop an anxiety or panic attack already in progress, but it will bring some relief a little faster.
Hi....I have a small pea sized lump under my tongue on the right side. It's located in the valley of my mouth between the floor of the tongue and the gum line. It is below the tissue. It is painless and has there for 2 years or so. It has not gotten larger. I asked my dentist about it a year and a half ago...but she said it was likely nothing. Is this something I should be more concerned about? Does anyone know what this could be?
