About 2 years ago, after a long day of walking, the skin around my groin in the folds broke out in super-itchy, inflamed red rashes. I used OTC hydrocortisone cream, and the problem subsided significantly. I've had a rash on my right groin area and lower abdomen for the past maybe 3 weeks or so. I have it for about 20 years now, and at first I had different symptoms, like rash on the skin in the groin-related area. At first these rashes were in the pubis area, then over years, moved onto the skin on the penis, then onto the foreskin of the penis, and finally they've got onto the head of the penis. I can feel just itching on the head of penis, it becomes red, and this condition persists for few days or a week.

Showering or bathing daily, keeping the groin area dry, using powder around the groin area to prevent excess moisture, avoiding tight fitting clothes and changing underwear at least once a day may help. And how can the recurrence be avoided? As i am a little overweight, is it possible that the skin is darkening because of the friction between skin? Please help.
I have been applying aftershave and a cleansing milk which has aloe vera around my groin area daily and it never itches (for 5-6 hours) after that. However if I scratch, the area becomes white (dry skin kind of) which I feel is normal on consistent scratching. I have controlled/reduced my scratching but have rashes around groin owing to scratching done.

Hi. I first noticed a reddish rash in my groin area ( the crease of inner thighs to the sides of my scrotom years back. Since then, I have had similar reddish rashes infrequently on either my left inner thigh or right, or both. it happens once in a while. But I usually notice it to occur if I havent showered regularly or masterbated and didnt shower aftewards. I assumed that it was some kind of bacteria or uncleanliness. I also noticed the rash usually doesnt last more then a week.
At that time, I had scabies rashes and itchy lesions on the base of my penis, scrotum area, and the groin folds on both the sides extending a little towards the inner thigh.

But after 1 week, all my lymph nodes area became tender and painful. In the first 2 weeks there was no swelling, after that my armpit glands swelled followed by both sides of my neck. They are not visible. They are big as M&M peanuts. They are painful/tender. My CBC is normal. Mono is negative. I will get tested for HIV but any idea first?
