A year ago an area around my neck began itching me. It would flake, turn a darker shade than the rest of my skin. The itching didn't bother me everyday, but this past March the rash swelled, turned red, and began to spread further around my neck. I used ProActive facial wash, sanitizer and lotion daily on my face and neck. I stopped putting ProActive on the red area.
Overnight I had pink bumpy hive like irritation appearing on ridge and towards the right side of my nose. Looks like skin rash but it is not itchy and is somewhat sensitive to touch around edges, it is about 2cm in length and causes discomfort and some areas are becoming somewhat tan color and a little bit harder today. It somewhat cause a little pressure on the nose and right eye and causes some headache.
I was bitten in NC by a tick a month ago. the red dot that formed after I was bitten in still there. There is no bull's eye, rash, or pain, but I'm wondering how long a red dot should stay, and if I should have my doctor check it out just in case.
I also began experiencing an itchy burning sensation near the head of my circumcised penis. my question is..... if a person has a herpes infection that is not on or near the genitals is it still considered an std? I was given a needle at the hospital when I went into labour with my daughter I reacted to the needle all around the injection site thought it was an allergy but it recurs OFTEN and is believed but not confirmed to be a herpes infection in the skin. Its on my back so its not near fingers, mouth, or genitals....is it still considered to be an std?
I have this rash that starts near my vagina and stretches maybe an inch and a half toward the rectum. I've had this for a few months. Its hard not to scratch it, and because of it, a scab has formed. My mom, who is a nurse, said it was probably just a rash from bad hygiene, gave me desitin, and I've been applying it for a few days now. The scab is gone, but its still like a hot pink color. Is this something to worry about? Should i just wait a few more days?
I had a patch on my chin about the size of a dime which itched and peeled on occasion. It seems where my skin is irritated another developes. I now have 7 in the chin area and two near my eye brows. I literally could itch my face off but I am religious about putting Vit. E, dry skin lotion and the MD gave me fungal meds which have not helped. They have left dark spots on my chin which I can't conceal. Any ideas.

About 8 years ago I started noticing an itchy rash near my pilonidal area. I believe was red, long, thin and slightly raised even then. I saw a doctor who diagnosed it as ringworm and had me use clotrimazole. After using it, it seemed to mostly clear up, but then came back. This rash would itch and eventually peel. It would peel over an over again. I tried treating it again later and had the same results.
hi, i'm 11 and the skin around my eye is red and swollen,and itchy, with a few little bumps around it, and I have a cold. my actual eye is fine. i don't think it's related to allergies. what should i do. please help me.
May just be a rash or a form of dry skin, an allergic reaction, I'd suggest going to see a family doctor or a dermatologist, he'd probally prescribe you with a cream to mend the itching and eventually take away the rash/bumps.

im 24 yrs old.. i dont drink nor smoke.. what else? i dont know.. can u help me.. i cant stand already.. i've been to 4 doctors and its getting worse... couple weeks ago, i've got rash on my body near the wounds. the rash came up after i put some dettol around my wounds... so i meet the 1st doctor and she gave me loratadine 10mg. the effect only stand like 4 hours and its start to itch again..next morning my lips swollen and become very dry..
