Avatar m tn I have been getting skin rashes from my early childhood. These Rashes tend to come mostly during the Summer months of the year. They usually seem like a mosquito bite. They first occurs behind the ear, then around the neck, head scalp and spread to the back. Finally i get them even in my face. They are very itchy . They usually seem to have a cycle like 24 hours. They start by afternoon and get intense by evening and disappear while i sleep. The body gets heated up so much during that time.

Avatar m tn It is difficult to comment without examining but it can be eczema, contact dermatitis, rash due to friction as happens when cloth rubs the skin, sweat dermatitis due to excessive sweating. Fungal infections like tinea and dermatitis too cause itchy patches. You may try calamine lotion on the rash. You should also maintain hygiene and try to keep the area clean and dry, wear loose-fitting cotton clothing. Since the rash is itchy, antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin may help.

Diagnosis needs a swab for microscopy and culture of micro-organisms, or a scraping to rule out fungi.
Avatar n tn Every summer after I get a slight tan I get these white little bumps lighter than my current skin color as well as a little rough. It doesn't itch at all. Not sure what I should use or if it is a fungus from the sun, I use sunscreen and can't seem to figure it out. Usually it is just around my stomach and mid back. Any thoughts?
Avatar m tn t breathe which caused the heat rash. If one is burned from the sun or from a tanning bed then the skin tightens up and forms a layer of skin that is closed and the sweat underneath that is trying to come out of the pores that are now blocked or closed, can cause blisters from the sweat trying to get out. Also note that you can get planter's warts from tanning beds also. I had that painful experience and so am very cautious about having the bed properly cleaned before I get in it.
