I'm been having this situation for about 5 years everytime i get wet, sweet, nervious, or swim my skin on my arms and legs especially on the underside of my arms and tender parts of my legs i get red bumps and my skin bumps up like reptile skin with slight itching I've change laundry detergent clothing types and any thing i can think of that comes in contact with my skin do have any suggestions. thanks red.
I went and saw the dermatologist yesterday and she advised me to use Dermatop twice a day and that it was a skin irritation.
Now my question, since I have started to use Dermatop my skin has become itchy and the redness has increased... is this normal? Does dermatop work this way and if so, how long till I see results?

Simple daily routines like bathing, applying soaps and scrubbing yourself dry can decrease the moisture in the skin. You will have to choose a moisturizer suitable for your skin and apply it 2-3 times in a day. Also AC and heating depletes the skin of moisture, so if you stay for long hours in AC or heaters you should use a humidifier too. Use warm water and a mild soap for bathing. Petrolleum jelly used at night along with glycerine can help keep the skin supple and moist.
It may be something else entirely, but, sometimes skin becomes:
- sensitized to detergent residue (re-wash linen a second time but without any detergent or other additives, to rinse out the residue);
- as winter approaches, indoor home air becomes dry, tending to irritate skin that's dry (of skin oils), which can lead to progressively worsening itching.
is 3 or 4 flat round circles that itch from time to time but dont sting and nothing oozes out but when i scratch them, skin seems to come off like it is dead skin or something and then sometimes if i scratch too much it will bleed a tiny bit. There is one on my upper thigh too and also on the right side there is only one under my testicles or very high thigh. Please help me figure out what it is.

That could be a skin irritation from dye or your underwear rubbing. It can also be the toliet tissue you use. Sometimes the perfume or dyes in it can do the same thing. If you wear thongs, that can definitely rub. When you have your period and you wear pads, you are putting something sterile between you and the underwear. It can also be that wiping with dry toilet tissue is not cleaning the crevices totally and it irritates your skin.

Also upon closer examination the skin between the head and the circumcision line seems to have like tiny vains all over.. Not like the ones that carry blood in your body but like tiny red threadlike vains everywhere...
First off I have no reason to believe I have an STD be that as it may I have an irritation around the head of my penis and a burning sensation along the seam of my penis there seems to be a white spot looking like dead skin that hurts as well could it be a male yeast infection or what am I looking at I want to have sex again

Sometimes sex or masturbation causes irritation on the skin. Don't have sex or masturbate for a week. if it keeps up consult a doctor.

My dad has had his diabetes contition well under controlll for over 13 years now. recently he has developed a skin irritation which is very itchy. Cld anyone advice what this is and how to alleviate the problem.
The skin is shiny and smooth, almost like a burn, but painless. It does not itch, even though the skin is peeling. I believe that the cause f the irritation came from the fact that immediately prior to intercourse, my girl friend removed a tampon that she used that day, though her flow was light. We also used a water based lubricant during sex. My question is, could the combination of lube with the remnants of chemicals present on the tampon have cause a chemical burn of irritation?
I have had this skin irritation for 2 days. It first appeared on my 2 arms with itchy small red spots. I took Benadryl and it did not resolve the problem. The day after, it moved from my arms to the back, lower back, legs, and along 2 neck lines. It is still very itchy! What products would help resolve this problem?
Your issue sounds like dry skin. Very common as the penis skin is thin and sensitive. Try a mild perfume free soap and try warm water in the shower. Hot water will dry skin quickly. Also try some lotion. No scented lotion. Something mild for dry skin.
Soaps can strip the skin of essential oils.
This is all normal and nothing to worry about.
I have been experiencing a terrible irritation/rash underneath my armpits that started out as making my skin feel like it was burning or on-fire sometimes with or without deodorant applied to the area. The skin underneath my arm was not only burning but also peeling, inflamed & changing color from translucent gray to dark blackish-brown.
I have had this issue for years and have been to the dermatologist numerous times. Basically, after sex/masturbation the skin below the head of my penis becomes red and irritated. It sometimes takes a few days to get back to normal. I've tried creams and even had a biopsy. The biopsy proved that nothing is wrong. It seems to me that the skin is thinner than it should be. After the "good" biopsy, I've been told to use lubrication and take it easy.
