but at the same time i tried to look up my symtoms online and i saw a photo of somebodys hand and it looks almost exactly like mines and it was skin cancer which actually worried me alot .....i am Scheduled to see the dermatologist Tomorrow To See Whats going on with my skin .....Any Suggestions On what It May Be?
Not sure when to go to a physician regarding what feels like a cyst. It WAS much bigger (tried popping what I thought was a zit about a month ago). It has gotten smaller (smaller than pea sized) and is located between my left side of my neck right under the middle of my jaw bone. It moves and appears to be between skin. It is not associated with my neck lymph nodes I don't believe. Are there any ways to differentiate acne, cysts and cancer? I am a 31 year old male.

Hello. I am a 34 year old male with no history of cancer in my family. I consider myself in good overall health except for maybe a suboptimal diet, and have no known diseases. I am worried about this soft lump on the right side of my neck that I found two days ago. From my estimation it is almost an inch in diameter, I can move it freely under the skin, and so far I don't feel any pain unless I squeeze it really hard.
called me back to his office to inspect my skin. They said the biopsy possibly showed skin lymphona i beleive (cancer) and i had an excess amount of mucin or mucinosis(i think its called) in my hair follicle. So when i went back to the Dermatologist , they looked at my skin and inspected me. They said it was fine and i have nothing to worry about and that i dont have skin cancer. Now fast forward to 3 months after the biopsy.
After abscess drained, the cat irritated it a bit, a flap of skin came off revealing tissue, and bone on the right of the jaw/mouth. We went back to the vet, said she couldn't bandage it since it's literally on the mouth, and therefore couldn't eat. Also can't stitch since there's no skin to stitch together.
My main question is there any way I could bandage it, or dress it for a while abd then take it off when the cat wants to eat? I will post pictures.
m scared what if the first diagnosis was wrong by the dermatologist and it was skin cancer or something else that is serious as well? I know with some skin cancers it takes years to diagnose and a friend of ours who has skin cancer had seen my spots when I had about 10 of them and told me they were exactly as I describe them and as they look and it took hers about 12 years for the diagnosis.
These warts/bumps appeared during my first pap test after starting to be sexually active with my current boyfriend. When my boyfriend and I inspected my vagina, we did notice 3 skin tag looking things on my labia minora and then about 3 skin tag looking things on my hole (I did not notice any cauliflower looking things).
There are a lot of photos of skin cancer examples (and moles that are not skin cancer) online. Maybe you could compare what you have to one of them. Also maybe you should ask a dermatologist. My HMO will let me attach pictures to emails on their system, if you have that kind of system with your doc, you might be able to send your picture there and save yourself a trip.
Pain at base of my neck and upper back. Some headaches coming from the back of my neck. A feeling of discomfort that feels like it's circulating between my shoulders/armpits and peeking in intensity at my shoulders/armpits. When lifting there is a pressure in my neck and if it's something heavy I often feel the pressure continue from my neck into my upper chest or back and a little out towards shoulders.
Hi, I'm a young male in my early 20's and for the past two to three years I've had this skin condition, I haven't been to the doctor about it yet but I plan to soon. It started out around my neck and was tolerable at first but recently I've noticed that it appears to be growing down my body particularly around my arm pits, sides and devastatingly now my groin, inner thighs and upper legs.
I'm a 24 year old Caucasian male. I think I might have Melanoma skin cancer on my right leg, close to my ankle. I began to notice my skin change to a slightly darker color about 10 years ago. I have never seen a doctor about this. After recently being told that it looks like Melanoma, I looked up some picture on the Internet and was shocked at the similarities. What do you think?? Your height, weight and age aren't really relevant here, but your skin type may be. If you are relatively fair-skinned, your chances are higher of developing skin cancer. In any case, a lesion that doesn't go away, and increases in size, merits at least a visit to your GP.
Diagnosed as warts, but did not look under microscope.
Dermatologist 2: Looked under microscope and told me he didn't know what they were, and that they are not warts.
