Avatar m tn No matter how many ab exercises you do, it won't show until the layer of fat is gone. Crunches and flutter kicks may give you six pack and but they won't show. Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

Running, tennis, kickboxing and rowing all use the core to stabilize the upper body during the workout. The abs engage, and at the same time get stronger and more defined. Doing ab exercises is the best way to sculpt the six-pack.

Avatar n tn m pretty close and have a six pack again. By concentrating on those goals, I was able to forget about the meds...almost 11 months now... Keep exercising and if you start to feel down, exercise some more. There were times I exercised 3x in one day...cardio, weights, cardio, etc... You can get over this hump... Stay Cool...

You should apply the ice pack for between 10 and 30 minutes. The ice should not touch your skin directly as this may cause a cold burn, so place a towel over the injured part first. Even when popped as described above, a blister can become infected, Staph aureus infections being most common.

Sometimes I have minor back pain, but I don't have very good posture and have had some slight pains throughout my lifetime, so I don't think that it has anything to do with it. Avatar m tn I've damned the torpedoes. I am doing the www.musclehack.com 10-week weight lifting cycles, including diet advice. I just finished the 10 week "total six-pack abs" and I'm sure I violated every rule for Hep C patients in the book (ie pure protein meals, pure carbohydrate meals, yada yada). Should you do this? don't ask me. However, I don't tell lies on this list by being super worried but still drinking alcohol and/or staying obese and glutinous.

Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.

This happened once before and I was told it was nothing by a doctor... Went to another doctor and was told the same thing... They ran tests and couldnt find anything. Some people choose a simple protein bar, but be careful of excessive sugars and fats. Quest bars are usually the best choice since many can pack either a ton of sugar or worse, fake sugars.
