Common Questions and Answers about Six pack workout routine at home

six-pack

Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar f tn I would suggest that Covid makes everything a little more difficult. It seems to throw a psychological dragginess over doing things. So if your exercise routine isn't particularly inspiring, as Pax says, it would not only be hard to stick with in normal times, but to me it seems unsurprising that it would be harder to stick with it now. I agree that doing something that's a workout in itself but you like, is a good way to exercise.
Avatar m tn No matter how many ab exercises you do, it won't show until the layer of fat is gone. Crunches and flutter kicks may give you six pack and but they won't show. Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.
Avatar f tn Is there any good recommendations on how to workout at home and the sort of things you can do for free even when your unfit ?
Avatar m tn t forget, you must also keep up this routine up not just to achieve a six-pack but to keep one.
Avatar n tn However, the length of time it takes to get-six pack abs depends upon your gender, how consistently you train and whether or not you have an excess amount of body fat. Strength train consistently and follow a hypertrophy, or muscle building, program. That's a high frequency of training sessions, with each session being of high volume. Rectus abdominus muscles like all muscles in your body require a rest from strength training, so allow 48 hours of recovery time between training sessions.

Avatar f tn What is an efficient way to work out at home? Or a routine to do at home?
Avatar m tn Walking is a great exercise, and as you have found out - by the aches you get even in the upper back and shoulders when you started seriously walking - it works out a lot of the body! Swimming is also great. Finding a variety of routes around your neighborhood to walk will keep it interesting. Look for a used treadmill, elliptical, or stationary bike at a yard sale or Craig's List. Keep up the good work!
773214 tn?1295135069 I have a yoga dvd that I got for christmas that is still in the package...lol... I am ashamed! But, I am not that lazy I promise. I walk for 30 minutes 4 times a week at least. I have a treadmmill at home, so I use that if it's raining and I do some stretches. I really need to do some light workouts for my arms, but I figure lifting the baby when he/she comes will get them right back into shape.
914879 tn?1243610887 I am addicted to opiates. About the end of 2006 I went to a Dr to go on suboxone. I thought it was the miracle drug and I was going healed/saved etc.Well two years go on and I've only up the does instead of decreasing it. It was effecting my eye sight and emotionall like I just wasn't happy. Well when insurance wouldn't cover it just got to damn expensive. So I decided to go on methadone just a couple of months ago.
958098 tn?1246809218 You should not go to Gym at your age. Teenage is the best time for sports, if possible you can join swimming. If not you try doing skipping, jogging in the neighbourhood, floor exercises, yoga, basketball etc. Calculate your BMI and also according to your age prepare a neat diet chart and stick to that. Do not consume fried food, desserts, choclates, icecreams, fast foods, etc. Exercise combined with Diet will do wonders on you. Take care!
Avatar f tn I was always told that you can maintain the normal as a runner. Which I did.. basically until youre really showing then taper it back accordingly. If youre already active its best to stay that way. You just dont want to add anything to your routine. The doctor will tell you when its no longer safe and to adjust your stride.
Avatar f tn I am looking into different home workout programs that I can do on my own time. I work as an EMT and my schedules are not flexible to fit in any gym programs. My question is have any of you tried the Les Mills Pump! program either at home or in the gym? What did you think of it? Did it work like they say? Do you have any other suggestions for me?
Avatar n tn Try eating six small meals a day and workout for 45 mins. The pounds should start coming off if you give your body the correct proteins.
746818 tn?1233944362 so for my actual treadmill routine. It sounds as if the treadmills at my rec center have settings that are a bit different than the one that you are currently using, but hopefully this will give you an idea of what I am doing. Before I ever set foot into the rec center I decide the distance that I will cover on this day on the treadmill.
Avatar f tn What are your favorite workouts when your feeling lazy &/down that help you maintain a good weight while pregnant besides walking?! I got weighed today and I'm just six weeks, I don't want to gain much weight except what's needed for the baby!
Avatar f tn ve done tons of research about stomach fat and the best way to burn it is by a balanced diet and by drinking a lot of water and engaging in both cardio and strength training, but is there anything else? i workout usually everyday, at the least 5 times a week, very rarely 4. I eat quite heathy, taking in a lot of fruits and vegetables and trying to watch my serving sizes and portions.
