For my registry I did a variety of priced items for everyone. I purchased the crib and car seat and stroller combo but I have big items like a swing and bedding sets which can run easily over 100.

You register at places (target, babies r us, Walmart etc) of the items you would like for your baby so ppl know what to get you. It is very helpful for the big items (pack n play, stroller, crib etc) as those are the items you will pry be most picky on as far as style and brand. Also jumpers and other higher priced items. I never put specific clothes on mine other than making a point to show I want plain white onsies and diapers!

Is it appropriate to put more expensive items on the registry? I have put a little baby bath and things, a boppy pillow, burp cloths, etc. partially so I can remember what I wanted. What do i really need to put on there? Are things like sheets and decor appropriate? I feel so selfish putting things on there like "hey family buy me this!!!!

My registry was printed on the invitations and literally nothing was purchased from it, only one person said they looked at it everyone else said "you didn't do a registry did you?

I was about to order a pack and play the other day online but my mom said no to put it on the registry. She said people usually spend $50+ on baby shower gifts.. so she wants me to hold off on getting like everything as of now.. I feel selfish asking for so much stuff.

I'f you registered somewhere you'll likely get things that were on the registry or similar items. If not, it'll probably run the gamut.

How many if you ladies had your husband go with you to do the baby registry that are married?

I'm keeping my registry kind of simple. We've got most of the big stuff already. In fact, I'm actually hoping to get mostly diapers. We've bought so much for the babies already (we were so excited and couldn't resist getting the things we liked.) I bought "combi" carseats with matching twin stroller. It's black with green polka dots. We haven't decided on the rest of the stuff yet.

Ok, so I'm making my baby registries a and I put all the things I need on there. I left them gender neutral because the way my baby shower will be set up, I will be finding out the genders of my twins at the baby shower while my guests will already know. My question is what all should I put on the registry? Should I put clothes on the registry although that's a given and most people opt for outfits anyway? Do you put medicines on there? I NEED YOUR HELP LADIES!

My showers next weekend and i keep seeing what everyone bought me on my registry and i feel like a little kid....

Bottle cleaning rack, bottle brush, my daughter loves her bouncer, a baby bath, lots of burpees (baby cloths), I have a LOTTT of them and will most likely buy more later on in this pregnancy. Baby blankets, and some rattles...

I found mine at Target and forget what they are called. I made up my registry list, then told my friends who have little ones to check it out and they have told me things to add, or just items to switch brands to. I just can't believe how much stuff is out there!!! Did you pick a nursery theme??

Just put it on your registry. Keep a registry for yourself and put stars by the MUST have before baby arrives (such as infant carrier) and know that if you do not receive it your shower, you must go get this. Easy to do because you don't have to shop . . . you have it right there what to get and you can go to your store and just say "I need this" and they can bring it to the counter for you. Does that make sense?

I also have a lot of good baby mags from my doctors office that have checklists for baby shower registry, what to pack in hospital bag as well as other things. I do use pinterest also!.... For everything.

And then wait till after the shower to organize. If you start your registry early it will give you a idea of some things you will definitely need that you probably didn't think of. I registered at target and if you don't receive things off your registry they give you time to order them yourself discounted at I believe 10 percent. If you get gift cards put it towards those things with that discount they give you.

I made a baby registry and I was wondering what should be on there? I have a few outfits, shampoo, diaper rash creme, diaper bag, diapers and wipes, she's due in December so a few hats and mittens, and a few more things. Also, getting diapers should I just get newborn size, or should I also prepare and get size 2 & 4?

I already made my registry. I wont have my baby shower until the end of Aug but at least this way people can look and save up for something or think of creative ideas based around the things I like. Also, its nice to have a place (because I'm a spending wh*re) where all the things I like are in one place so I can just pick a new thing to buy!

This is baby number 2 for me so I just put a bunch of stuff on my registry so that I can plan out what I need to buy. And if someone buys it for me, that's just great!
