Six pack of athletes

Common Questions and Answers about Six pack of athletes

six-pack

Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar f tn Keep in mind that many female athletes take testosterone to maximize performance and to get those six pack abs you see in high level female athletes, almost all of whom are taking some form of testosterone but know how to do it and when to do it to hide it from the authorities of sports. Men do this too, Bodybuilders almost all do it.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?
Avatar f tn I have had three tests and all were negative. I had an affair six years ago and all of a sudden this has popped up. I have had yeast infections and now athletes feet. I have convinced myself that I must have it and no tests are picking it up. This is literally consuming my life and ruining it. Any advice on wherre to turn and what to do? I would like to continue living. I am afraid of where this is taking me.
Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar f tn Today was injection day - Week 39. When I went to refill my pill container, I discovered I missed two AM doses, six pills. Will this compromise my treatment? I guess my emotions got the best of me and I just forgot. I guess I should tell someone cant"t do a thing till Mon. tho. Thanks for being there - Lynne P.S. Took 2 tranquliziers, haven't needed them for a long time.
Avatar f tn Repair and regeneration begin at 48 hours to 72 hours post-injury, and continue maximally for six weeks. This is one of the reasons Prolotherapy injections are given every six weeksùto maximize the time of proliferation of the new ligament tissue. From six weeks to 12 months the ligament tissue remodels, contracts, and gains tensile strength. After 12 months the ligament and scar tissue generally matures and achieves 50 to 70 percent strength of the original ligament.
Avatar f tn Water intoxication is most commonly seen in infants under six months of age and sometimes in athletes. A baby can get water intoxication as a result of drinking several bottles of water a day or from drinking infant formula that has been diluted too much. Athletes can also suffer from water intoxication. Athletes sweat heavily, losing both water and electrolytes. Water intoxication and hyponatremia result when a dehydrated person drinks too much water without the accompanying electrolytes.
Avatar n tn For a six-pack to show, you must reduce body fat. The body fat percentage necessary to reveal a cut torso varies according to your genes and body type, but for most men, a percentage of 6 to 8 percent will reveal abs, while for women require a percentage of about 11 to 13 percent. To reduce body fat, reduce calories below what you burn daily, which can be determined by finding your basal metabolic rate. A 250- to 500- deficit daily will lead to a 1/2- to 1-pound weight loss in a week.
1565702 tn?1295292830 starting with my usual six or seven cigarettes I smoke before I leave for work, then another four or five smoking in my car on the way to work, then taking several smoke breaks while at work in the morning with an average of two to three each break often finishing my first pack of the day just before lunch, then lunch break at a restrauant with an outdoor smoking patio where I usually smoke another six or seven cigarettes out of the second pack, then several more smoke breaks throughout the aft
Avatar f tn I need to pack my daily lunch healthier than I have been any suggestions
Avatar f tn There's no right or wrong answer but I'll tell you what I have and I'm six months btw. A couple packs of diapers and wipes, some onesies, a stroller,a carseat, and a baby bath. I just buy here and there when I can. I try to shop for the best deals being that I'm on a tight budget already. Me and my bf are in the process of moving soon. So I would say the most important things are carseat, diapers and wipes. Congrats :) Good luck.
Avatar n tn You have a very active lifestyle, but the kind of athletes with exercise induced LVH usually perform much higher on the Bruce Protocol, making it to atleast stage six and over 15 mets. Your work out is very good, but not really excessively intense. Much depends on the mets you achieve during your work out along with you heart rate. I do approx 60 mins EVERY day on either a treadmill or stationary bike and burn 750 cals as well and I would never consider myself a world class athlete.
Avatar f tn Can gonorrhea be cured with a special type of athletes foot cream or does it just relieves the symptoms? Because I went to the doctor and my results were positive of having gonorhea from my vaginal exam, I told the doctor that the symptoms only occured outside of my genitals but yet he found the bacteria near my cervix. he gave me an athletes foot cream and told me to apply it twice a day until the syptoms stop then told me I could leave.
Avatar n tn I have had a very bad athletes foot problem on my left foot between my small toe for over 4 months that wont go away don't matter what creams i have tried. Please help me. EzEl...
Avatar f tn Does anyone know if there is anything safe for baby to treat athletes foot? I'm miserable....
1100598 tn?1413127426 No I dont have a garden. I live in a apartment complex. I have tried using a spray athletes foot remedy and the problem has gotten worse. Now my toe is swollen and tender along with the redness and cracking. Lotion does not help either. I will try dipping my feet in vinegar.
Avatar n tn For the last six months I keep getting some sort of infection on my ring finger where my wedding bands are. It is a ring all the way around my finger that is red in color, itchy, sometimes there are clear fluid filled blisters, and then when it starts to heal it becomes dry and peels. I was told by my jeweler that it was a fungus and to put rubbing alcohol on it several times a day. That works but it keeps coming back and I am cleaning my rings regularly.
Avatar f tn I would urge you to go to a surgeon who specializes in this procedure and had done a lot of them. Not one in six months. If you can, arrange to get what is called a "3T" MRI, which means "three Tesla Units". Most MRI's are only 1 T. The 3T are the latest machines and prove a much clearer image, which will define surgical options. If you can afford to do so I would get a consult from a specialist in sports medicine. One who deals with professional athletes.
Avatar n tn Eventually, you should be able to go back to your regular routine. Take it easy for now, especially that your groin is still healing. I am not aware of any athletes with stents.
Avatar n tn Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar n tn The rubbing of the foot to the shoe or socks may cause irritation and may lead to build up of fluid between layers of skin to protect the area. It is important to keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection. Athlete's foot treatment involves antifungal creams and washes. Many antifungal medications are available and should generally be continued for four weeks, or at least one week after all of the skin symptoms have cleared.
Avatar m tn Thanks, Tom and Michelle, and others once again as I've certainly appreciated your help and guidance thru this arrhythmia thing.I'm optimistic I'll get to the bottom of it all. As to how I'm feeling? Essentially the same but will try pushing a bit harder though I do get tired just walking around the house. Was thinking of a short bike ride today but...I don't know. Going from 10 days of extreme exercise to two weeks of virtually nothing physical has been quite an adjustment.
