Six pack fitness routine

Common Questions and Answers about Six pack fitness routine

six-pack

Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar f tn It depends what you did before falling pregnant. Mostly it's said that you can continue to exercise to the same intensity you did prior to pregnancy. I've been doing pole fitness for six years and am an instructor, I haven't changed my exercise regime at all. On my days off instructing I do about an hour kn thw treadmill and stretch. Everyone is different though.
Avatar m tn t forget, you must also keep up this routine up not just to achieve a six-pack but to keep one.
Avatar n tn It starts with diet. Belly fat usually comes from eating too many simple carbs, such as sugar and white flour. That's why when it's really big it's called a beer belly, because beer is a lot of simple carbs. As for exercise, there are a million good ab exercises you can learn at your local gym. Cardio also helps with this. Don't expect a six-pack, most will never get there, but you can tone it but it will take work. Only you can determine if that work is worth it or not.
Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar f tn The Peak 8 routine it will quickly raise your heart rate 8 times for very short bursts, with a cooling down period in between. Ideally you’ll be sprinting or cycling full throttle for 30 seconds with a 90 second cool down in between each outburst. This is the fastest way to lose fat and build muscle in the body. Peak 8 actually stimulates the growth hormone in the body.
Avatar n tn Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar f tn Aloha everyone! I currently got a gym membership and was curious if any of you could help me with a gym routine. I can't afford a personal trainer they are very pricey! Is it better to do the elliptical or run? I heard running breaks up fat better/faster? Anyways I'm 195 pounds 5'1 and looking to loose about 60 pounds by New Years. Any an all help is welcome. Mahalo!
Avatar f tn Hey Ladies, So, this is my very first pregnancy and as a life long advocate for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle I want to continue my normal exercise routine while pregnant. However I do not want to put my baby at risk at all. Wondering if there are any other fit moms to be out there who can refer me to the best reading material on the topic? I know i will need to keep my heart rate within certain parameters, but that's about all I know at this time. Tips and experience welcome!
218468 tn?1189755820 s better than setting overly ambitious goals and feeling like a failure. If, after six months, you can get in the routine of testing 5 or 6 times a day, getting some moderate exercise, and giving yourself the appropriate insulin, you should really notice the difference. Also, have you considered a pump? Do you have one? My daughter thusfar refuses to (but she's doing fine without it), but I know many people who say it's made their life much easier.
Avatar m tn Hi people, everyone has concerns about the well being of their child I too have some. Lately, he is getting mad to get the abs (six pack abs as they call it). I don’t think that this is something bad but the ways he is trying is a bit crazy. He believes all that is being told to him and I can’t figure out how he can get them without training the right way with the right exercises.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?
Avatar f tn Check out "40 weeks of fitness: prenatal workout series with Lauren Huber Griffith" on youtube. It's a little more advanced but she also has various steps on each move so it's easy to work up to the full thing. I also "sectioned" it in to 4 separate workouts that I'm mixing and matching. On top of this continue the walking!
Avatar f tn I know how you feel right when I was losing and getting a routine down I was pregnant! But, all is okay! I definitely took it down a lot when I found out I didn't do heavy lifting and I didn't squat anymore just because with a past pregnancy I had short cervix and didn't want to risk anything! But I kept walking and working on my arms with weights and worked on my legs doing extensions. But definitely talk to your doctor on what you do and what you should kick back on. :) good luck!
Avatar f tn Oh, please, guys, you both know that not everyone or very many people will ever have six pack abs. Why would we want them anyway unless you watch too many TV commercials? You're both just selling something you want to be true because you both do it, but I'll bet a lot (if I had a lot) that Gymdandee for sure doesn't have six pack abs.
Avatar m tn I'm currently 15 years old, and found out my pulled hip turned out to be a lymph node infection caused by bacteria. I've really been depressed lately because I feel the issue isn't really resolving as fast as I want it to and it's put me way out of shape.
Avatar f tn Unfortunately there isn't enough information about what you're exercise routine is. If all you're doing is cardio and legs...... You're not necessarily going to lose weight and it definitely won't get you a six pack. You're nutrition is going to be about 90% of it but if you want to see those abs you're going to need to change up your routine.
7677085 tn?1395374075 I ran 6 days a week. From the time I was six until I was twenty four. I got a full time job and couldn't run as much. I started back running in April 2013 shortly after I found out I was pregnant after nearly passing out after a run my obgyn said I couldn't run the remainder of my pregnancy. I don't really know why but I do know I was out of shape. But I lost that baby shortly after so I would talk to your doc before you start that task. Good Luck.
Avatar m tn However, maintaining good cardiovascular fitness through diet and exercise is always the first recommendation by most physicians. This involves eating a heart-healthy diet that is low in saturated fats and sodium and rich in fruits and vegetables. The American Heart Association also recommends routine cardiovascular exercise of 20-30 minutes at least 4-5 times per week. This includes jogging, biking, swimming, or any other aerobic exercise.

2062815 tn?1342885289 I am 18+4 and I am always hungry. I eat six or seen meals a day small but healthy and when I wake up I am starving. My advice is not to worry about it. As long as you remain active during an after you should be back to your normal weight in no time. I have only gained about 7.

1363340 tn?1277780222 A regular fitness routine, Yoga and meditation can also help to eliminate stress and create a more peaceful sleeping atmosphere and provides a relaxed state of mind. Psychotherapy can also help you to learn how to cope and deal with the various stressors in your life. You need to share your feelings with some one close. I suggest you to consult psychologist. Take care and regards.
