You're not necessarily going to lose weight and it definitely won't get you a six pack. You're nutrition is going to be about 90% of it but if you want to see those abs you're going to need to change up your routine.
Avatar f tn You get a flat stomach by dieting, any exercise will help build some muscle there but most people have a six pack underneath the fat already, and everyone has a "flat stomach underneath the fat.. This is why and on skinny guys don't count :P Also, a lot of people's pooch or whatever you call it has a lot to do with inflammation of the digestive track.

I don’t think that this is something bad but the ways he is trying is a bit crazy. Avatar m tn No matter how many ab exercises you do, it won't show until the layer of fat is gone. Crunches and flutter kicks may give you six pack and but they won't show. Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

My goal is to get a defined stomach area, but i haven't been able to do much. I want that girly six pack that you see on swimsuit models where it looks like their skin shrik wrapped itself around their lean muscles. Now this month i turned up the heat on my exercises. I do cardio for 2 hours now, then i hit the weights with all that i have.

Dropping weight like crazy, I juice, too, as part of my nutritional regimen. It makes me feel good generally, but who knows if it's affecting MS? We'll see.
Avatar n tn I played sports heavily all my life, high school varsity football 3 year letterman in Ohio, 13 years of baseball, the works, and I never had breathing problems really, except walking pneumonia during my senior football season. Its been about 2 and a half years and about six months ago my breathing became very difficult, my lungs felt tight, I coughed up brown chunky phlegm, and felt low on energy, like i don't have enough oxygen or something. I smoked about half a pack a day.
Avatar f tn Dieting is probably a no. Eatong healthy is a yes, but make sure you eat often so you get all of the nutrition you need in a day. Exercise should be limited until you talk to your doctor. Every body is different. I am 7 weeks, and i am not allowed to exercise because i have a past of anemia. So, just either call your triage nurse or ask at your first appointment!
Avatar f tn It's not muscle memory lol.. it's that after ur 1st ur stomach muscles are not as tight as a 1st timer so it shows faster cuz it's loose. But if u exercised n worked on ur abs n they r strong then it will be the same as a 1st timer. This is my 3 n I exercises n had a six pack after my pregnancies so even on my 3rd I didn't show til 25 weeks.
Avatar f tn Instead of just working the upper abs, do exercises that do the whole core in order to promote equal dimensions . Some exercises include leg raises, jacknifes, Swiss ball side crunches, side bends, Swiss ball crunches and hanging leg raises. The Swiss ball will use more ab muscles. Do each one of the exercises consecutively for 15 to 20 reps with no rest in between. Then take a 60-second break and do them all again. Repeat the whole circuit four to six times.

Avatar f tn From everything I have been told by the doctors an NG tube is temporary. It should not be used for more than six weeks at the most. It also can cause sinuitis and infection in the sinus cavities. My father had a stroke a few weeks ago and opted for the PEG before going for the NG tube as he just does not like something in his nose and thoulgy iy would impeded him from doing throat exercises. I was present when the docotrs said an NG was only a temporary measure.

I guess my emotions got the best of me and I just forgot. I guess I should tell someone cant"t do a thing till Mon. tho. Thanks for being there - Lynne P.S. Took 2 tranquliziers, haven't needed them for a long time.
