Common Questions and Answers about Six pack diet foods

six-pack

Avatar n tn re trying to reveal a six-pack. The bubbles in soda contribute to bloat, while snack foods may contain belly-fat building trans fats. Also, keep tabs on your sodium intake -- salty foods, including chips, frozen dinners, canned soup and leftover Chinese take-out with lots of soy sauce -- can cause your body to retain water so your six-pack stays hidden.
Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar n tn Start shopping at The Whole Foods Market. They have lots of foods that you can eat that do not have these items in them. My diet is even more strict that this one and I have no problem finding foods to eat every day. You just have to get used to eating healthy. Steel cut oats for breakfast, sandwiches made on wheat-free bread for lunch, and stir-fried vegetables over brown rice for dinner. Fresh fruit for dessert. Get it?

Avatar f tn You get a flat stomach by dieting, any exercise will help build some muscle there but most people have a six pack underneath the fat already, and everyone has a "flat stomach underneath the fat.. This is why and on skinny guys don't count :P Also, a lot of people's pooch or whatever you call it has a lot to do with inflammation of the digestive track.

Avatar f tn Diet is a major factor!! Avoid deep fried foods, processed foods, refined foods and foods high in saturated fats. Eat foods that are nutrient-dense, high in fiber and low in fat, eat lean meats, low fat dairy, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and legumes. No liquid calories. If you want to get a six pack in a month, then no useless calories in the form of alcohol and at your age I'm sure you aren't drinking alcohol!

Avatar m tn After religiously eliminating foods that might contain trace amounts of antibiotics (most commercial meat and dairy products and farm raised fish) I have been free of these terrible allergic episodes for six years now. No, I have not been on a liquid diet for six years. That is only worth a try the first few days after the onset of an allergic reaction. I freely eat antibiotic free meats and dairy products and wild caught fish. All other foods free of animal products are safe for me to eat.

Avatar n tn My son will be 21 years old soon. Since about the age of 2 1/2 - 3 he started avoiding certain foods. He has a diet consisting mostly of carbs. On an average day he'll have pancakes, bacon, toast and juice for breakfast. For "dinner" or another meal that day it may be cheese breadsticks or deep fried mozarella sticks and french fries. He occasionally eats grapes. He does drink milk, orange juice and apple juice.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?
Avatar f tn I do two things to help me not be hungry while dieting, first i snack on a 180 calorie pack of sunflower seeds, it takes me my whole work day to finish and keeps my mouth busy so im not snacking on high calorie stuff. ..plus they come in many flavors do its not boring. Secondly i do the volumetrics diet. Its based on the normal weight loss principles of low calorie, low fat but teaches you to choose items that will fill you up faster (ie-grapes instead of raisins).
6669309 tn?1462648142 Who switched to a grain free diet for their dogs? Why? Which one? Please tell me how you like it? How long have they been on it and finally what benefits have you seen? Thank you so much! I will be switching this month for my Chug, Rusty because of a suspected grain allergy. I am on a limited budget but must get my dog comfortable again. I can't afford more than $60.a month for this but would love it even cheaper if possible and still good quality.
Avatar n tn Food triggers are different for different persons. Some people find cold foods worsening the pain whereas some find spicy foods intolerable. Foods that contain a lot of fat may also trigger the pain. For you it seems to be the same. Please avoid spicy, high salt and high fat diet. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
616450 tn?1228433627 Folks, I talked to my endocrinologist about the way certain foods seem to affect my thyroid. She said nothing I eat can help or hurt my thyroid, but I could swear I feel it almost HURT about a half hour after I eat a lot of dairy. Also, if I eat something like Sun Chips--or any thing else with a lot of enriched wheat flour, etc.--I feel it as well along with a "pumped up" feeling. I read some about it online, but the endo claims it doesn't have much to do with my diet.
Avatar n tn Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar m tn I am concerned that if I even eat one trigger food, my esophagus will swell up again. Has anybody started incorporating trigger foods into your diet? Also, I am concerned because I don't usually FEEL reflux. It is more silent, I think sometimes.
