Avatar f tn I have trained people from 300lbs+ down to 8% body fat with a very predominate 6 pack. No where did I say it would be easy and not take sacrifice. Only to include eating for fuel and not for flavor. Everyone has at least 6 pack abdominal muscles. I for one and lucky and have a split in my lower abdominal wall that prrople call an 8 pack. I didn't always have a prodominate mid section. But through hard work and eating properly I and many others have achieved it. With out steroids!!!

I work out a lot, but my body just will never have the Hollywood abs mythos and I am fine with that. You are right. Its not normal.

I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).

Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

I've been doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in between weight lifting days and eating primarily proteins, healthy fats, and a small amount of carbs for breakfast and after excersise. I'm trying to lose as much fat as possible in the next two weeks.

Avatar f tn You get a flat stomach by dieting, any exercise will help build some muscle there but most people have a six pack underneath the fat already, and everyone has a "flat stomach underneath the fat.. This is why and on skinny guys don't count :P Also, a lot of people's pooch or whatever you call it has a lot to do with inflammation of the digestive track.

Avatar f tn It really depends on your level of activity before and after birth and how good you're eating. Fat gained from healthy food burns off easier than fat from junk food. I always shrunk down pretty fast after each baby. The slowest part for me was for my hips to go back in. I could get down to or almost to prepregnancy weight within a few months but it usually took about six months before i could get my old jeans to go back over my hips lol.
Avatar n tn I guess that is why they insist on you getting the starter pack to start with(lol). You need to watch your intake of fat, the more fat you eat the more fat comes out of the other end. Fat is what you are referring to as the greesy orange stuff floating. Alli recommends not to consume more than 15grams of fat per meal. what ever you do becareful...well umm..passing gas!!! can be VERY unplesant while shopping or at work...lol. Hope I was helpful.
