Additionally he was also prescribed Naproxen 500mg and Alumina Magnesia 360 ml. I think this is too much medication. Any suggestions? The pain meds are for arthritic hip and knee and rotator cuff surgery.
Exactly - the med is the same, the strength is the same - the pack is just an easier way for your doctor to prescribe it rather than actually figuring out how many pills to prescribe - and also probably easier on the pharmacy for them not having to write out all the instructions on dosing.

I have been taking simvastatin for three weeks since having a Tia but have also had a flu like cold for ten days , I am still having aching flu like pains which I would have thought would have passed by now .
