side pain left side front

Hi I am 33 y/o male. I've had left side pain (front near ribs/side) for the past 3 months now. The pain comes and goes, seems like it gets worse after I eat too much, sit in certain positions, lie in certain positions etc. CBC and urinalysis are normal. Ultrasound of stomach area didn't find anything abnormal. What could this be? If it is muscle strain how come it isn't getting any better? Are there other explanations?

I have had so many problems in the last couple months that I really don't know where to start. My latest is a pain in my front upper left side right below my rib cage. It's not constant and it's not a bad pain but just enough to bother me and worry me. I am also having bad lower back pain that comes and goes. I have had changes in bowel movements going back and forth from constipation to loose stools.

I have a dull pain in my left side like in the lower back, even occasionally through my left front side like near my ovary. Id back pain on and off again normal and the dull pain? I will be going to Dr. next week thank you!

Hi how are you I have been suffering from pain in my left side. ive been to the doctors a good many times. most of them all say its to do with muscle. but my pain is usually the top half or middle back pain. I suggest to try to some back exercises you can find them even on YouTube to strengthen that part of your back. it is all to do with posture maybe even try sleeping on your right side I have been trying to do that.

Over the past two to three years, I have been suffering Left side headache once in two months I have started off pain in the top left side of my head toward the front, and in my left temple area and in the left side ear. I went to the ENT Specilalist in Nov-07 and done CT scan of Head and Brain. It was normal. But from the last year (2009) the problem has been occurring once in month. The pain in the same left side of head, left noistrils, eyebrows and ear. I went to ENT again.

I'm 22 weeks as of tomorrow. I'm having pain on my lower back but on the left side going the whole way to the front. By my ovary its a constant pain n very sharp. Walking standing or laying doesn't help. I currently get P17 shots once a week due to my first son being a 10 week preemie. Idk if this could b a side effect or if something is wrong.

I have been having a horrible pain in my left side. It starts at the front of my rib wraps around and ends in my back. It feels like a cramp when you run but much much worse. I went to the hospital and they think its acid reflux but I'm not convinced. Anyone else have this problem?

But even before that i have had this pain in my lower left side of my stomach. I have had tests done and they have found nothing. The pain comes and goes. It used to actually give me pain in my belly to lay on my left side, but oddly-starting about when my 3rd trimester started, it doesn't hurt anymore. Still more comfortable on the right, but at least I can switch sides throughout the night now.

It feels worse and different than the last chest pain I had. This one is like in my back and all over the left side of my chest. I know that all the tests came back fine but now I'm just not convinced. I can literally feel my arteries being blocked which is what could be causing the pain.

re not in any pain or discomfort any sleeping position is ok, but they do say the left is more beneficial to the baby. Personally when I lay on my left side I wake up to my left leg numb or even just having more pressure on the left side does it, it's a little strange but had it with my first too.

hi everybody, i am having a discomfort under my left rid cage it do not pain but it quite annoying. it first started at the front, then on the side now its at the back. I am having this for about 1 months.

Lately the next day I have been feeling light on and off pain in my right side. I was wondering if it could possibly be my liver and due to the drinking. The pain is in my side and just a few inches above my hipbone..sort of where "love handles" would be. its been little over a year i been having pain in my chest (left side) right above the nipples. some times i also feel burning kind of pain in my back (Right behind where it hurts from front). Funny thing is i cannot simulate pain when i rub or press the Spot, but internally i feel kind of soreness or maybe discomfort. i went to many different doctor and did blood tests, ECG, Sonogram of heart , but everything came out normal.

m not sure how to really explain this, but I will try my best I have a dull ache, not painful but just a dull ache at the very left side of my torso... the ache basically goes from the lower left quadrant abdominal to the upper left quadrant... or in a nutshell, from my hip (ilium) to the bottom of my rib cage. my bowel movements seem normal and stool seem normal as well. I'm 26 years old, I workout and I have pretty healthy eating habits for the most part (mediterranean diet).

No more than 10 seconds later, I felt pain on the right side of my upper torso. Painful, what felt like cramps even, from the right side of my stomach, to under my ribs where it was particularly painful, to under my right breast.
