After discussion with MS Neuro and my wife , we agreed that I should start Aricept , it is used mostly for Alzheimer, so its off label and he says it has shown great results. I do have a damaged working memory and slower processing speed, cognitive impairment effects every day in some small way. I won't reveal to any other family or friends that I ve stated this med, I just think I would feel self-conscious about people looking for my errors and mistakes.

After I left the exam room, and was checking out, I remembered that I wanted to talk to him about Aricept - I got the attention of one of the nurses, and we went back into the exam room. He looked a little irritated at me! He thought that Aricept would be a bad idea, as it's usually for people with severe impairment - Alzheimers and so forth. Keep us posted--this is encouraging news. The Provigil is helping for the fatigue and actually helps with cognition, but I still have Teflon Brain. I've been on estrogen for a long time, and it hasn't done anything for this. Maybe your stomache issues will settle when your body gets used to the drug (fingers crossed).
