Avatar n tn s easier said than done, but it could be done always remember that. I believe your husband has been suffering from post traumatic stress disorder for all of these years and that it has developed into paranoid personality disorder. Read up on both. Before he can start any counseling, he needs to admit to himself first that there is a problem, once he can do that then i'd consider cognitive behavioral therapy. Good luck...........things will work out.

5210218 tn?1365167402 t dounbt that you have some depression issues but to me it sounds more like PTS (post traumatic stress), or it may even be PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I think the best thing you can do is try to continue with the counseling. Depression works a little differently than PTSD. The symptoms you are describing with the anger and fear sound a lot like PTSD.
Avatar n tn It sounds like you were involved in a very traumatic experience, and if there is anxiety depression and stress related to an assault, post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms can contribute to the cognitive dysfunction and mood symptoms and headaches.
