In the middle of the dinner all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain followed by a feeling that my stomach turns to a cement block and I could not eat anymore. I remember that the day before I ate a rotten cheese cake whom I through after eating part of it.
Since then, this pain is persistent. And one more thing; I don’t have any constipation.
I would welcome any suggestion.
Usually the symptoms of IBS are changes in your bowel movements (how often you are going and what is the consistency of your stool), pain or discomfort, often decrease in pain after having a bowel movement, and sometimes other symptoms like nausea/vomiting/fullness after eating/gas, etc. Pain can be felt in many different ways and a stinging and pulling sensation could be the way that you feel pain.
No just a pain in lower stomach and my stomach growls alot, I know its gas, but why doesn't it move. Once in awhile I will have sharp pains in my stomach and have to rush to the bathroom. I know thats part of the IBS. But why I get these pains in my stomach only in the morning is strange. My GI doctor just passed it off, like it was nothing. I also noticed that I don't belch that much. Even if I do drink a soda or beer once in a great while, maybe once a year or so.
ve been playing volleyball ever since I was little and about a year ago I had this very very sharp pain in my stomach while we were conditioning. It was the most painful stomach cramp in my life! The area where it hurt was very spesific and when it reocurrs its always in the same spot, on my right side of my stomach in the middle of my belly button and my hip bone, if you drew a diagonal line from my belly button to my hip bone it would be right in the midde.
Throughout the night and early this morning i was having stomach pain. At times it was very sharp pains acroos the bottom of my stomach. The best way to explain is imagine holding your pee for as long as possible and how your stomach gets tender. I usually use the bathroom a few times troughout the night but it seemed no matter how much i peed it still hurt. Its been tender all day. I thought maybe the sharp pains were bh contractions but idk. What do you guys think?
Sounds like gastritis (inflamed stomach lining). My mother had severe GERD/LPR/painful gastritis. When I read low stomach acid is the main reason for acid reflux conditions, I took her off acid blocker nexium and started her on betaine HCL with pepsin to increase stomach acid and digestive enzymes to improve digestion as well. It was by accident actually that we found out betaine HCL with pepsin supplements and digestive enzyme supplements got rid of gastritis pain as well GERD/LPR.
I have had stomach issue for 10 days. On day 1 and day 4 I had very sharp pain on my stomach, upper central abdominal. I had bad pain, but not as bad as the other two days on day 8 as well. Almost after every meal, I have had some stomach discomfort, ranging from light to medium degree. I have been on Apo-Esomeprazole since Day 5. I did blood test on day 5 in a walk-in clinic, but haven't heard back. The discomport is better if I only have soup. What might be the cause and what should I do?
I have been to the ER and to lots of doctor appointments for this and it keeps getting worse. Now if I eat anything my middle right ab is very sharp pains. I live on egg whites (the only thing that doesn't seem to hurt my stomach). I tried eating some cheese dip a month ago and woke up in extreme pain on my right side that spread across my stomach, threw up and had to go to the ER. The dr swore it was my gallbladder but all tests (blood, ultrasound and HIDA scan) were normal.

Some others that I have talked to did have a arrhythmia that had caused problems like this or some women get heart problems that give you pain in the jaw and neck etc. Anyway, I hope this helps.
m a 27 year old male (not overweight, healthy), ever since I could remember back in grade school I would get this sudden sharp pain every once in a while. The pain is in the left chest area (heart area). I've always thought of it as occasional heart burn and for the first time in a while I got it again today. Let me describe today's incident as it is pretty similar to all other incidents I can remember.
