sharp stomach pain in waves

Soo, me and my husband had sex for the first time in a while and during sex I got a pretty bad pain in my stomach and now that were done it still hurts. It comes in waves of sharp pain.

An intense pain that kinda gets worse in waves but is steady. Ive had mult bm this morning already so im not sure if it is gas pains why its still hurting. Ftm so i don't know what to expect at all. Could it be a ribs ligament pain? Can those be intensely painful? I am sick to my stomach now too because of the pain. Any input is appreciated.

Intense pain in my stomach area, hard to describe, so bear with me. I am a 23 year old female, 5'1 and about 80lbs. Tuesday night I began getting these sharp pains in my stomach. It is right under my rib cage in the center, just above my belly button. I think it's not gas pains because it's not in my intestinal area. These pains come in waves, every 20-40 seconds, I can feel it slowly building, then reaches its peak and fades out. Then it happens again.

t changed to perhaps start the pain; the pain comes in waves and gets more intense and then goes away after a couple of second, around 3 or 4. I'm a little off put of eating now as it's causing me great discomfort. I've done a small bit of research but not sure what I'm lookin for, however, if it makes any difference, I have only started to experience this when I started to take some anti-inflammatory medication from the pharmacy.

However, I just noticed that it seems to be going in waves. I will be fine and then all the sudden I feel a pain starting in my upper abdomen. It is a sharp pain like when you have a bad stomach virus, but I have noticed it has been all day coming every so often. Has anyone experienced this at the beginning of labor or is it a form of labor? Please help!!!

I'm 37weeks and 2days, I have had clear discharge since yesterday.Also today having sharp pains from my belly button all the way down to the vag area. Like little pain waves it's hard to explain lol but they've been going on for about an hour. Anyone else that has had these pains or just me?

Like kinda feels like you need to go to the bathroom but you dont? OR does it feel like a hurricane is going on in your stomach like your about to have diarrhea? Sorry if too much info but I wanna be ready for when it happens.

ve had no trauma to it and I have long natural fingernails so really the very tip of my finger is not that accessible to even a random bang. After about an hour of the sharp pain it began throbbing relentlessly, my heart now lives in my pinky finger I am convinced. So now I am left with the constant throbbing and waves of sharp pains, akin to someone driving a nail straight down into the tip of my nail.

ve been experiencing a sharp pain on lower left hand side of below the stomach for the last 45 mins. it comes in waves and has been bent over in pain. I dont know whether this is something more serious or if iv over done it at the weekend, i had a family wedding and i was very active and lifting stuff. Should i ring the docs?

Later in the day I developed sharp pain in my lower right quadrant that comes in waves. Bowel movements normal but excessive for me(5) I have gastric erosions that I take Prilosec for and a small hiatal hernia. Should I be concerned as the pain isn't going away and is a 8/10 on a pain scale . Going the bathroom neither alleviates or seems to cause the symptoms and no food causes either( I haven't just eaten a greasy meal either in AM or night before.).

You feel a lot of tightening of the stomach a long with pain. Pain varies per person but when your in active labor they will come every 5mins or less and last about a min long.

Took a gas-x and fell asleep with my butt up in the air only to wake up in even more pain and now vomiting. It hurts so bad!

Do the cramps come in waves? Could be contractions. Definitely time them and see how close they are. When you get a BH, it usually just feels like a tightening of the stomach. Some can be a little painful or take your breath away. But with real contractions, you will feel the tightening/crampy feeling, pressure, and possibly some back pain. (it's a little different for everyone) For me, I always knew I was in labor when I felt lots of pressure and had to breathe through my contractions.

Hi, I haven't been able to find anything on what I'm feeling. I was told I had Acid Reflux but looking at the symptoms, I don't feel like that is right. A few years ago I started to experience incredible stabbing-like pain in my stomach after I ate. I went to the Gastrologist and now I've been taking 20mg a day of Prilosec. When I would forget to take it, the pain would come back later that same day. Now, that pain has come back, even while taking Prilosec. No heartburn.

im 24+5 weeks and I have been having a sharp pain in my stomach whenever I stand up or lay down straight (without arching my back) any one else have this??
