If the pain is unbearable and you're having a sharp pain in your chest when you take a deep breath and you have pain on the right side of your back between your spine and your shoulder blade, you have to share this with your doctor asap. I cough up phelgm and sometimes feel nausiated out of no where. I have had a sharp pain in my upper left back randomly show up and it hurts no matter what, and the left side of my chest aches when I inhale and exhale. This pain has always occured through out my life very rarely but has become pretty common the last two days. I also have bubbling pains in my left side of my chest when I'm laying down, should I see a doctor ASAP?

About 2 months ago I had an abnormal ekg. I went to the ER two different times with chest pain and had normal ekgs there and my enzymes and Xray was normal. I have weird symptoms like body pain with throbs around my body that either feel like spasms or twitching. I had a normal stress test. have recently had more pains in my chest they are on the left side they are sharp sometimes. I am now worried it could be a heart valve issue. I have a slight cough but not breathing problems.

Pleuritis and Pulmonary embolism are other possibilities causing shortness of breath with chest pain. Another possibility that can explain the pain is pericarditis. I have been conjested on and off for awhile I have really bad sinus problems but about 2 weeks ago got really sick the got a really weird sharp pain in chest it hurts to cough to breath hurts when I move. when I breath I can feel a rattle in my chest. it got better then last night middle of night I tried to roll over and had this awful sharp pain again I turned back to my back and had to cough when I did it felt worse I was short of breath and it felt as if something just snapped togeather.

I started getting this sharp localized pain in my lower right chest area. Right undermy right breast(I mean right where my breast ends).It is so painful. It started out just hurting when I coughed ..but now it hurts all the time. Hi I'm having this sharp pain in my chest, mostly in the middle more to the right. I had this about 12:20 in the afternoon and it's already 6 and the pain is still here. It's not sore if I cough, sneeze, or breathe in really deep. It's not sore at all even if I press on my chest. I recently saw my Dr. because I was having a slight cough and a sharp stabbing pain on the right side of my chest...(I was also recovering from a reoccuring staph infection) She said she thought it was plurisy and ordered X-rays, and gave me antibiotics and an enhaler of albuteral. m 38 weeks pregnant I had a quick question everytime I cough or laying down and move to switch to a different side I get a sharp pain in my lower stomach is that normal this far along or should I be worried?

I am sixteen years old. A while ago i had a sharp pain inn my chest, sort of in my sternum. It hurt while i was breathing or sometimes while just sitting there. The test went well and found less than 25% blockage. (Not bad for a 45 year old male with a sweet tooth.) The chest pain subsided that day but a sharp pain in my right pectoral muscle has been bothering me ever since.
