It's normal, especially at 5 weeks. More than likely its just your uterus stretching and prepping for changes.

Baby hopes is right, cramping is normal but severe cramps (worse them menstrual) with or without bleeding is something you need to speak to you doctor about. just to be on the safe side!

They haven't been too bad, just feels like my normal menstrual cramps, but last night I woke up with cramps that lasted for about 10-15 minutes and they were so bad I couldn't walk, I felt like I was going to throw up and sweating. To me, they didn't feel any different. I was prepared for disappointment because I thought my period was about to come. I don't think every woman feels cramping during implantation, just like every woman does not experience spotting.

I mean I had bad menstrual cramps my whole life, to the point where I laid down and cried, so I was able to lay there and endure fairly bad cramps without meds and wasn't even concerned. Looking back I found it odd lol. I wasn't even concerned enough to call my mom. But yeah, totally normal. Water, watch TV, rest.

Everytime I get one I feel that am for sure going to bleed becasue its like the sevre menstrual cramps I get befor emyh period..When I get the severe one its usually on one side of the lower abdomen.. I am worried and don't knwo what to think..

When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrual cramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrual cramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.

And for the last 4 days or so I have been getting severe menstrual cramps. They feel like they did when I was in the hospital. It honestly feels like contractions, that's how bad they hurt. Motrin 800 doesn't help it either. I went to my doctor today and he said that there isn't much we can do since I'm breastfeeding. Have you had a bowel movement lately? I have this problem all the time where I get severe cramps in my lower abdomen like menstrual cramps but its cuz I haven't been able to go for a few days. Try a warm bath and maybe track bm to make sure they r regular. I know it sounds goofy but I ended up in er a few years back cuz it was so bad. Drink lots of water but still go see dr. Cramping is normal during pregnancy tho. Most of it is your body just stretching out from a growing uterus.

I went to the Dr today after I was having some pretty bad menstrual like back cramps. I've had it mildly this whole pregnancy (I'm 12w3d). I have thought it was weird BC I still can't find my uterus. I had an ovarian cyst rupture recently so I was told the pain in my side came from the fluid left around my ovaries and that it would take care of itself. I had cramps since 6 weeks. But they were nothing like period cramps they were very mild. I am now 30 weeks still get cramps every now and then.

You can try taking a couple Advil to help with cramping pain. I get severe menstrual cramps myself, and have been put on prescription medication. But the Advil can work just as well and does get rid of pain. It may be pain from endometriosis. Make another doctors appointment and ask about that. Good luck.

I've had so much cramping lol but doc reassured me everything is fine currently 22+2 and he's so snug in there don't worry urself into anything lol I did it and do u kno how many ultrasounds I've had since then lol
