I am struggling with a severe acne breakout recently. I can not figure out what it is from. It first started at both sides of my jawline, little white bumps under my skin that surfaced as cystic like whitheads. Now I have them ALL over my face. I have been going to a dermatologist for a long time and he told me it was acne and milia. He uses a needle to "zap and burn" them. Which leaves me with dark small spots all over my face like measles or something. They take 7 days to heal.
I am experiencing a severe breakout. I have larger nodules under the skin around my chin, jaw bone, and neck. They last for two weeks before they become painful and eventually come to a head. An esthetician recommended taking probiotics with a digestive enzyme, but that seemed to make it worse. I have tried medication, facials, microderms, etc... They only seem to make it better temporarily. What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Ive been in allergy shots 3 sessions so far an severe acne and only gotten a pimple or two here and there my whole life previous to this around stress or period. This is so bad and looks like kind that will cause very bad scars. I think I may quit the shots, having scared face isn’t worth this and 5 years time doing it. Rather keep taking pills and sneeze than look and feel this way! 42 yearsold never had skin issues till these shots.

I had the same thing early in my pregnancy and ive never had bad acne before just a pimple or 2 once a month when I got my period
You have to be careful of what you use. Talk to your dr. Ive had bad acne since i got pregnant and still do at 22 weeks. Its horrible and on my face. I wash it with neutragena twice a day which helps but i havent been successful at getting rid of it completly.
I have a history of cystic acne, which hasn't bothered me in about 4 years. I am 25 years old.
A couple of days ago, I got a huge breakout of whiteheads - something that I have never experienced before.
I haven't changed any soap, cleansers, detergents, fabric softener, anything.
The zits are all over my chin and sides of my face and on my forehead.
I never had pimples previous to my pregnancy, maybe one breakout here and there. I am 14 weeks and have horrible acne on my face, chest and shoulders. Please help! I've been washing my face twice daily and moisturizing as well. I also have been experiencing really dry skin. please let me know of any products I should try.
The shampoo may be left for a few minutes on the head prior to washing it off. Tar shampoos are usually used for more severe presentation as suggested by severe plaque formation.
I suggest you start with shampoos containing selenium sulfde or zinc.For the itching a topical corticosteroid may help.

I'm 16 weeks and my face won't stop breaking out! Its so uncomfortable to have acne everywhere along with these tiny red dots that's look like a rash! Has anyone else gone through this or is going through this? And is there anything I can do to help calm it down?
Thanks for your reply I am supposed to get my period this coming week but this breakout is horrible and nothing I do is helping I'm not stressed and usually don't have this type of breakout even pmsing so I'm just curious when did your breakout start before your expected pd?

My girlfriend is stopped with birth control around 5 months ago.
We're planning to have a baby. She's having severe acne which started when she stopped taking the pill. Acne on the forehead and the chin, not really in the middle of her face. She's taking zinc and evening primrose oil for about one month now which made not really any difference so far. Has anyone an idea what to do to get it more under control ?
Anyways, I went to my doctor multiple times in a desperate attempt to find a pill or medication that could clear my acne, and was even considering Accutane during that bout of acne last year (doc said no because I was on antidepressants at the time). I've tried everything from clindamycin to minocyclin to tretinoin to bactrim (which gave me a rash and high fever, turns out I'm allergic to it) to birth control pills... to no avail.
Hello, didnt know where to post this, ive been having severe acne problems, i got a onset of red flat pimples all over my shoulders, back and chest. Just today i broke out on my chin and they formed a triangle shape bermuda triangle pimple thing. Its horrible, it stingz and burns. Worst part is they bust open and crust after abit, which is why i think its herpes or hpv or maybe even hiv. I have no idea maybe even thought it was molluscum but it doesnt have the indent in them.
I have recently tested negative for HIV (blood) and have not had any risky exposure for over 10 years. I'm also negative to Hepatitus a,b, & c.
I began having unprotected anal sex with my wife about 2 months ago. After about 2 weeks she began to develop severe acne on her face that hasn't happened to her since her early 20's. She is 40.
She has herpes and at times get zits on her face (rarely her lips) when she is run down physically or under high stress.
