for the first time i do not feel dpressed or anxiety. i stopped taking the valium when i started the seroquel. my valium has been a very high dose 60mg a day. will i get withdrawl symptoms from stopping the valium? when i started the seroquel 5 days ago i had a slight headache hardly anything. but now 5 days later my headache is very bad.
7 weeks ago he went on Suboxone and started to take about 4 mg of klonopin and 50 mg of valium along with 50 mg of seroquel. 5 weeks ago, the doctor started weaning him off the klonopin and changed him from seroquel to trazodone. ( the valium was never prescribed..he just took that on his own ).
On his own, he decided to increase his klonopin dosage and add seroquel back to his regimen.
I have stopped taking seroquel and valium, which i have been prescribed for years. .. I also stopped taking an anti-depressant, but didnt find it helped me any. Seroquel helped me sleep, valium/xanax helped panic attacks... I don't have any money, no doctor, even emergency wont take me in. I have no choice, please help... Any information would be helpful.
im also on 5mg valium and i want to taper it. i cant find a doc who supports a slow valium taper and they want to put me on seroquel 50mg instead. i didnt like it. it made me drowsy till the next day and my appetite was too much. i might try 25 mg next time or just continue tapering the valium slowly. the problem is i couldnt find a doctor who would prescrive valium to me.
I'm on Carbemazepine and Seroquel and It's never stopped me eating grapefruit regularly sometimes two or three a day as I love them!, I had no idea about the negative effect until recently and I've been on Carbemazepine for years :-S I'm still here so I guess it diddn't do me any harm =). Nobody told me to lay off the grapefruit so I diddn't know any wiser! Perhaps will limit them now to a couple a week!
I take meclizine for the nausea, valium for the brain shocks, and now Seroquel for insomnia. Valium I can quit cold turkey(long half-life). Its seroquel that has me concerned because it antagonizes many parts of the brain that Remeron does creating a sedative effect possibly making it addictive. Am I robbing Peter To pay Paul???? Has anyone had experiences with Remeron(mirtazapine) or Seroquel (quetiapine). Particularly withdrawal Experiences.
I have a borderline personality disorder, but I'm not bipolar (as far as I know) and I'm taking Seroquel (don't know why) and Lexapro (for anxiaty & depression). I've read Seroquel is for bipolar, maniac depression and schizofrenia but I'm not sure which of this three aplies in my case. I cut myself, have burned, starve, binge, make myself throw up, have anxiaty atacks and I am generally depressed.....
I've been on 25 mg of Seroquel daily as a mood stabilizer (anxiety, amongst other things) for 10 months and I'm about to ween myself off of them. I still have a month's supply and my general doctor told me previously to take one pill every other day to see how that goes.

My question here today is i take 600mg of Seroquel at night but my Psychiatrist has me taking up to another 600mg during day if im becoming homicidal. I also take 600mg Lithium..150mg Efexor..10mg Valium..Dexampatamine for ADHD..
I know they are basicaly putting a chemical restraint on me..I want to come off Seroquel but ive been on a high dose for years.
I often wonder do all these meds add to my aggression?

also possible weight gain with continued use... I am not a doctor, but ai have been on Seroquel on and off for about 5 yrs... I recently stopped taking it, because I had lap-band surgery and actually want to lose weight... almost impossible to lose weight wile taking Seroquel...

lunesta or ambien are both less habit forming than valium but valium is a good choice tho out of the benzo family with xanax, klonopin and ativan being much stronger...do what u need to do to get thru the next few days and stay comfortable..after that if the sleep probs persist, talk to ur dr about a safer rx med or try otc meds like valerian root...good luck and congrats on every second of ur clean time!
It sounds like you are on way too much stuff and why would your psychiatrist dope you up like that? Valium and Klonopin are habit forming. Have you had your bloodwork done regularly? It is so very important to have that check and each med your on can mess up a different organ. BTW, how does the Neurontin work for you? I just started it. Thanks!
I currently take 400mg of Lamictal without any problems, but I also take remeron and valium. This combination seems to work for me and except for an occasional panic atttack(I'm diagnosed with that also) my anxiety level is pretty stable. As for Seroquel, I had the same problem with weight gain(40 lbs.) so told my doctor to take me of it and I've since lost the weight through diet and exercise. One outlet that I find very useful for anxiety is meditation, even for a few minutes a day.
Just wondering, what are the effects of Suboxone, Seroquel and Klonopin? He is on 12 mg of suboxone daily, and is prescribed 2 mg of Klonopin but he is abusing that already and taking about 20 mg of the klonopin. I am not overly worried, just because he was taking about 350 mg of valium a day before going on the sub a month ago, but of course there is some concern. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Per the above site. There is no interaction with Valium and Harvoni . You can check drugs on that site to see if there is an interaction. As always, it says contact your doctor because all interactions may not be known.
You can take Xanax too and Xanax being a sedative, hypnotic, anti-convulsive, anxiolytic medication will make you even more tired and dizzy since you are already on Seroquel which is very sedative in its anti-psychotic kind of med. You get the extended release which should cause less sedation but still when mixed with a benzodiazepine such as Xanax it will add up and make you feel like you mentioned above.
PLEASE don't give your dogs anything at all like this before checking with your vet!
