sensitive teeth while breastfeeding

can any 1 give me any ideas how to control sensitive teeth ITS DRIVING ME BONKERS! i use sensodyne toothpaste and mouth wash nothing helps. i can't stand anything hot or cold touching them. iv been to my dentist several times now and she applyed a gel to my gums which eases it 4 a while but theres not much more she can do. any advice appreciated.

Hi ladies I have a question had anyone of you have sensitive teeth? I am 28w4d today this last week i have had very very sensitive teeth. and alot of the time i cant sleep they hurt so much.i wake up about 10 times threw the night and its just to painful to sleep. i brush and floss daily adn everything amd i use the sensitive tooth paste. if anyone has this happeneding any idea why or how did u deal with it Thank you ladies.

how do you mommys do it while they have teeth?

Our bodies can still be very weird while breast feeding. With my second son I developed an allergy to wine and beer, not that I drank much since breastfeeding, but the first time it happened we had gone out to dinner and after two sips my face was full of hives. I'm sure your sensitivity is something that will pass after you're done breastfeeding.

My question is anyone that has there cycle while breastfeeding do you get nipple sensitivity that you never got before with your cycles?

Hello I am new to the forum and had a question i am 28weeks pregnant and I have been having horribly sensitive teeth this past week were i cant even sleep at night they hurt so much. is there anything i can do to help the pain? i use sensitive tooth paste but it hasnt seemed to work much.

For years, I have suffered from sensitive teeth. The pain from cold objects literally drive me mad. One bad habit that I know is causing the sensitivity is my avid consumption of acidic drinks, which I am trying to give up. I have sought the services of a periodontist, who said that I have the beginning stages of periodontal disease.

I'm 30 weeks and have noticed my teeth becoming increasingly more sensitive. Anyone else have this happen? Does it go away after birth?

I don't remember my teeth hurting this bad with my first baby. Is this normal while pregnant?

Weaning can be an option - teeth is why many women stop breastfeeding. I may have to stop breastfeeding soon because of that: my baby is 7,5 months old, he already has 6 nicely formed teeth and this week he bit me so hard that I yelled loudly, it drew blood. The nipple is still very sensitive. He has been excited in the morning, generally he used to be quite gentle when nursing but these past few days he has been very agitated, he barely naps (used to take 2 hrs nap last week!

My baby is almost 3 months old and I exclusively breastfeed the beginning is kind of hard to get through because my boobs were super sore and it hurt when she latched on because the nipples are used to breastfeeding so they are sensitive a lot of times I thought about quitting it but I didn't. After the first few weeks it won't hurt anymore. Some women have problems with their milk supply but I didn't.

Btw yes my breasts did hurt but I thought it was because of her teeth. Gl not everyone can get pregnant while breastfeeding.

I am currently breastfeeding my 19 month old. He has never bitten me and I've never noticed his teeth scraping or rubbing while breastfeeding. The way they nurse it covers the bottom teeth. Don't worry keep up the awesome work!

I'm 20 weeks and cleaning my teeth still makes me gag and nauseous. When I had severe HG it made me throw up quite a few times. I just grin and bear it because with me it's not the actual toothpaste but my gag reflex. It's gross and to be honest I don't see it leaving until the end because my stomach is still so sensitive.

No way! I had flat nipples as well and my son had had a tongue tie. I used a nipple shield for 6 weeks and after that he was able to suck hard enough and my nipples were no longer flat. Haha. I breastfed my son for 20 months. And he sucked his thumb for a year! And his teeth are fine. Using a nipple shield is usually temporary anyway. Keep up breastfeeding by any means!!

I found a lump on my right breast while breastfeeding my 8 months old baby. I went for a mammogram and the doctor told me to stop breastfeeding in order to do the biopsy. I breastfed all my babies and having problem giving the bottle to the baby. If I can, I never wants to give a formula to my baby. On top of that she is allergic to milk and soy . Any advice? Thanks.

They were able to calm things down for now but get this, they did a sono to check him and my cervix...HE HAS TEETH! he has 3 of them. They said its the first time in 11 years a baby has/will be born with teeth.

I'll be breastfeeding until he starts growing teeth, then it's pumping until about a year old or so.

t get a tattoo while pregnant and no tattoo place would allow that.. But you can get one while breastfeeding, I got mine a week after I had my son and checked with my doctor and the tattoo artist before having it done and was confirmed by both that it's fine!

Mine have been so sensitive for 2 years. All through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I got pregnant again while breastfeeding and that was horrible! Had to stop breastfeeding and they still are sensitive and probably will be till baby comes and breastfeeding is over. Hoping we dont have another one so close together.

While brushing my teeth and tongue I notice blood when I spit. My tongue on the outside appeared to be red. When I brushed it, my tongue bled again.
