I just started iron 2 days ago and my teeth feel extremely sensitive. It's so annoying. I am constantly bothered by it. I don't know if I can continue this medication. Sorry I don't know the exact answer to your question.

Eating ice destroys the enamel on ur teeth, the stuff that keeps ur teeth from being insanely sensitive I have a horrible habit of eating ice but I hear its becuz ur body needs more iron so try taking some supplements for iron instead!

s referring to craving eating ice chewing ice is terrible for our teeth especially since firing pregnancy our teeth is extra sensitive

I'm anemic and have low iron so my gums bleed just by touching them lightly with the toothbrush or even my finger.. they bleed a lot.During 10 and 11 weeks, brushing my teeth made me gag to the point where I couldn't stop so I eventually puked.If you have a gag reflex,it becomes extra sensitive while pregnant.

Hello I am new to the forum and had a question i am 28weeks pregnant and I have been having horribly sensitive teeth this past week were i cant even sleep at night they hurt so much. is there anything i can do to help the pain? i use sensitive tooth paste but it hasnt seemed to work much.

can any 1 give me any ideas how to control sensitive teeth ITS DRIVING ME BONKERS! i use sensodyne toothpaste and mouth wash nothing helps. i can't stand anything hot or cold touching them. iv been to my dentist several times now and she applyed a gel to my gums which eases it 4 a while but theres not much more she can do. any advice appreciated.

I have never had dental problems but for the last 2 weeks, my teeth hae become incredibly sensitive to hot/cold and also ache all the time even when Im not eating or drinking... Could one of the meds Im on be causing this? Also, could one of thee meds be causing my eyes to be very dry?

and that can lead to frail teeth and bones for you. I have seen some nasty teeth that moms have gotten because their baby took allll of their calcium supplement. And thats just an example. My opinion would be to take at least some kind of multivitamin during pregnancy. When I even took them for my first pregnancy my son was taking all of my iron so that lead me to be anemic and I then had to take an iron pill. But I have a friend that never took hers..

Has anyone ever tasted or had to take liquid iron? I have low iron and since I don't take pills I have to do liquid..
