Avatar f tn My doctor wants me to consider Sensipar. After reading up on it am more confused than ever. I do not believe I want to take this drug. Scan was negative but from research am not holding it to be accurate. Suggestions and thoughts greatly appreciated.
Avatar n tn Being treated for it all meds are sensipar, metropolal tartrate, famatodine, asprin 325mg, insulin 70/30, Gabapentine, hydroxyzine, reneval, advair 250/250. I may have missed one doing this off the top of my head but this is the bulk of it. She takes dialysis 3 days a week also. Please help this is messing with her breathing and her mood.

Avatar f tn oh my parathyroid. Several labs show pth and tsh are normal. I was put on Sensipar for 10 days which barely lowered my calcium. Calcium ranges from 10.3-12.8 depending on the day, and ionized calcium 6.6.... Also, LD-5 elevated, low creatine and proteinuria ....I've seen ent, endo, cardiologist, oncologist....now what? Any ideas?

1654035 tn?1332425178 not sure what to recommend for an energy pick up other than eating a good nutritious breakfast with protein and plenty of anti-oxidants.... for coffee alternatives have you ever had red tea (rooibos)? it doesn't taste like coffee but its really enjoyable. you can even make a rooibos cappuccino with milk foam -- sooo good! for coffee substitutues i know there are ones made from chicory root that simulate the flavour -- think the name is caf-lib. have you tried decaf?
