Pokemon Go is very popular right now. As RockRose says, if your life is generally an adult one, and you are doing adult things most of the time and accomplishing adult responsibilities, unwinding by doing things you used to enjoy when younger is not a turnoff.
I also happen to find interest in mythological creatures like japanese tegu demons. I watch pokemon simply because I find it interesting to see animals doing attacks and pokemon based on such creatures doing those attacks in action as well.. Yet I am near 24, going to school and am graduating in May. I will also go back to applying for jobs next year in my last semester. Since I'm no loser with zero goals, is it a turnoff to watch pokemon for those reasons?
I have had a lot of weird ones. Probably the weirdest was we lived in a pokemon world (I used to play on gameboy but havent in years). Someone let loose a bunch of pokemon and my family was trying to round them up and people kept trying to battle us and I went into labor but everyone else was so preoccupied that a pokemon helped me deliver the baby.

couple days after my daughter received her 6mo vaccine cocktail and a clean bill of health; she had like 5 spasms a minute or two apart. it seems to only happen when she is tired and cranky or if she wakes up from sleeping or is about to sleep. her development is right on track, she is eating well and is 100% on height... she is growing normally.
My daughters name will be Alice, so her theme is Alice in wonderland. I've already got a bunch of cool pieces.

my 8 yr daughter makes imaginary friends and movies about pokemon and God.she is intelligent but does not like to study.She shares all her stories with me. She has recently been diagnosed with amblyopia and wears specs now. I think She started this behaviour of day dreaming after my separation from my husband after a violent marriage. How can I stop this behaviour wich may turn self destructive later on as she will seek relief in imaginary world only. How can i channelize her energy?
30 pm and I was playing a game called Unreal Tournament when it happened. I have an 8 year old dtr that only plays with Pokemon, legos, and Nerf Guns. I wasn't terribly concerned at first. I grew up on a farm and never really played with dolls. I chased frogs and shot cans with a bb gun, so when she disregarded her babydoll at age four for a stuffed moose I thought it was fine.
I love star wars and Harry potter. I love watching the old Pokemon. Pirates of the Caribbean and the Hunger Games are an addiction, and chronicles of Narnia is an awesome series. I don't have an issue with my child watching these movies at a young age...at all. I woukd rather my child watch these than half the crap on TV these days...but my boyfriend doesn't agree. He says it would be ”bad parenting and I would be a disgrace to humanity” if I let my child watch them. Any advice?
