Seizure video game warning

Common Questions and Answers about Seizure video game warning

Avatar m tn pay attention to any weird silence or spacing off that might occure Before the seizure begins as a warning. My Aura is pain in the left side temple before a seizure. then speaking issues and leaning to the right side. hope that helps the next time you experience this scary event. during a seizure does he wet him self or poop him self? those are important things for the doctor to know even tho embarrassing...
Avatar n tn Last year I suffered my first grand mal seizure. At the time, I was taking Phrenalyn (similar to Fioricet but without the caffeine) for migraines. There was still barbiturates in my blood when I was hospitalized for the seizure. Since then, any time I go for several days without taking Fioricet, which is what I take now, I get a seizure. They're happening about once every two months now. I do take more fioricet than I should. Sometimes fifty tablets in a week.
Avatar n tn She might do it while playing tball, being excited that we're going somewhere or she's seeing her cousins, or most recently I noticed it every few minutes while she was leaning against me playing a video game. Each incident only lasts a few seconds, but they seem to be becoming more frequent. She's very social, articulate, playful, smart so I'm not thinking it matches the stimming I've read about.
388261 tn?1215403444 Read your favorite book, play your fav video game, read the posts and journals on this forum, play with your kid's, have sex with your spouse, rent some movies you have always wanted to see, go outside and work out, run, scream while your doing it. Do whatever it takes to get your mind off of the w/d's. Stay away from stress, and most of all people, bro's, and friends who won't be supportive.
544292 tn?1268886268 Theres a lot of conflicting information about seizures on the list. I've never seen anYone have a seizure in tramadol WITHDRAWAL. Have seen several people have seizures when TAKING tramadol. AND, every tramadol related seizure I saw did not seem related to how high a dose the person was taking; RATHER was in instances where someone markedly INCREASED their dose. I think the confusion is in that seizures are common when withdrawing from sedatives (alcohol, barbiturates, benzodiazapines etc).
544292 tn?1268886268 Progress and regression. It's all part of the game. You can't fool Mother Nature. And I'm IGNORING the text message that said,"Let me know if you change your mind and I'll bring you something." Drugs. Pushers. They think they are helping. No more. I'm down for the count, but I'm not out yet!
Avatar n tn She was not choking or anything like that. I actually thought at first she was having an epileptic seizure as the first signs of it seemed like that (my 3rd dog has those so I know what those are like when you see them). While Lucy didn't have epilepsy, dogs have been known to develop it later in life, so I thought that was it, until I saw her stagger into the middle of the yard and just collapse.
Avatar n tn i smoke way too much too though and that is not good on my heart. so are there like warning signs of seizures? and what are these dilireum tremers? i go hiking in the mountains when i am not hungover. so maybe i should stay off the mountains for awhile? how long does it take to get your body on track again?
Avatar n tn it all started abouth 2 years ago, when I was lying in bed in the morning and in that 'about to get up' and 'still drowsy, lying in' stage I would have an odd sensation in my head. Sort of like a head rush, but more overpowering. How I would imagine a seizure to feel like if it was only in the frontal lobe of the brain (and not in the rest of the body). When awake I would never have these, and they happened very very rarely.
Avatar f tn 123que double posted this thread and on the twin thread someone comments on it claiming it to be a "simple partial seizure". I've since read up on SPS's and the symptoms are only vaguely similar and seeing as all three of us have the exact same symptoms I doubt it is a simple partial seizure. The symptoms are much to specific to simply be pushed into some vaguely similar preexisting disorder.
Avatar f tn Based on my understanding, what I witnessed with my wife's stroke and according to the American Heart Association as well as the American Stroke Association is that there are very few outward physical warning signs a stroke MIGHT happen but when it DOES happen, it happens quickly, i.e. minutes. c&p from the American Heart Associations and the American Stroke Associations web page concerning strokes; Stroke Warning Signs If you notice one or more of these signs, don't wait.
Avatar n tn Time outs for the same negative behavior until it eventually stops, taking away things (ie... computer time. video game time, etc.) for negative behavior. It is a matter of being consistent and correcting all the time. It is true that individuals with Down Syndrome can often have other issues going on.. Autism, ADHD, BiPolar, etc and it is always good to have those things ruled out when experiencing unusual behaviors. As for medications... that is your choice.
Avatar m tn They come and go with no warning. They can last from seconds to hours. I can be sitting or standing and they will start. At first I thought it was from my coffee in the morning, so I stopped drinking coffee. They stayed. So, I thought it was from my Topamax. My Dr took me off of my Topamax for a while, and it wasn't my Topamax. And the burning sensation is unbelievable. And the crawling sensation that goes through my head like there are bugs running through my scalp.
Avatar f tn I have had abnormal PET scan which showed aabnormal glucose uptake in the brain and now am having seizures due to the inflammation in the brain. I see a neuro who started me on IVIG monthly and now am taking seizure meds. I would recommeend seeing a general practitioner than a neuro if needed. Its very frustrating because it wakes me at night and cant sleep. I also have other symptoms like memory problems, feelings of weakness in arms and legs and feeling "foggy".
429155 tn?1205676864 I find keeping occupied is the best thing, but the fatigue and the pain in arms and legs are real bad some days. WARNING. I had read that symtoms can return at anytime, well that seems to be the case, I ache all over today, ( same yesterday ) and my skin feels as if I have rolled in some stinging nettles, arms and legs in particular.
Avatar n tn One night I had a grand mall seizure and that at least got people looking for something wrong instead of blowing it off as I was crazy. I take medication every day, but have had a few more seizures and the Dizzy, feeling tired, getting all worked up while driving continues. Sometimes worse than others. For along time driving five miles to work was something I worried about all day.(worked nights) I finally (after 5-6 years) refuse to be controlled by this feeling and it does help...
Avatar f tn I get these unexplained chills all the time, where im freezing cold with goose bumps all over my body. They hurt and I can barely walk they are so bad sometimes. I check my temp when I get these episodes and its perfectly normal. I do not have a infection or am not sick. Im not even in a cold environment. Everyone around me is not cold. Its the weirdest thing, and I cant find a answer for it. Its like my body is messed up and sending these chills for no reason. Please help.
Avatar n tn fry my brain, liver, heart and so on (the list gets really long, too long!) we could be here for years, literally!! but IM JUST WARNING YOU not to waste ur time, its fun yeah. but ruins your life! if not in this way, itll get you somehow or another.. physically, mentally and emotionally!!!!
Avatar f tn I take phenergan myself for constant nausea, and discovered late in the game that dogs can also take phenergan. It didn't work quite as well as the reglan, but at that point we tried anything we could get our hands on. Over the counter Dramamine for motion sickness can be tried as it is metabolized in the liver - got that info from an ER vet nearby.
