163305 tn?1333672171 Another blatantly obvious reason for police opposing public scutiny of their urine is that it could reveal the usage of such things as anabolic steroids. Police officers are no stranger to ‘Vitamin S’ as many of them have not only been caught using the rage-inducing hormones, but selling them as well. Chief Cameron McLay insists that the terms of the contract allow him to require tests of all officers involved in a pursuit, irrespective of whether they were also involved in a collision.
486038 tn?1300066967 If you need to, talk to your doctor about muscle relaxers and pain relief. Don't feel like you need to tough it out, it is one of those things that is best dealt with by getting as comfortable and as much rest as possible. I also bought a bunch of reusable ice packs. Bent metal stinks, but minimal injuries outweighs that any day. I know it's natural to stress over the car and insurance and all of that nonsense, but try to take it easy and not worry too much about all of that.
148588 tn?1465782409 But there is New Day acumen when we will be judged by our Character and not by The Color of our Necks. I see a day when The ACLU will join us in our fight to be free of this discrimination, a day when we can fly our Confederate Flags proud because it is a symbol of out Heritage not Racism, and our own Redneck History Month. A month of 24/7 NASCAR, History of Moonshine Documentaries, Documentaries on The Invention of Wine in Box, and Duck Dynasty.
Avatar m tn At about 5pm I was released from the police station. I was still out of my mind. At about 2am the next day I was found inside a business that I had broken into. The police report said I was sitting on the floor. For some reason the police used a tazor on me. This was a different police department then the one that issued me the DUI. The said that there was not any drug that the know that would make me act the way I did, so they took me to the hospital and took a urine test.
Avatar n tn I began abusing right away. By the age of 23 I was still on it and abusing it heavily. Taking 3 or 4 at a time and drinking on top of it (mostly just on the weekends). Eventually, taking 6-8mg a day was nothing for me. I would mix it with hydrocodone I got from a buddy on some occasions. I used to drive messed up, go to work messed up etc. I even snorted it a few times and even used to sell it too for a brief period. Once I sold some and had to buy it back because I was so addicted.

387660 tn?1242600342 Auto travel can have a relaxing almost hypnotising affect watching those lines wizz by also. The doc mentioned Autoimmune. The most common of those is the one that old docs seem to think only women get.......Thyroidisim. Many men have this, as well as young athletic ones. Regular thyroidism (just a slow old thyroid) is not autoimmune and many older women have this. Autoimmune thyroidism, Hoshimoto and Graves can affect anyone! Thousands are undiagnosed.
Avatar n tn I'm afraid I haven't kept track of my time off of Darvon, being preoccupied by the considerably more difficult job of getting off of benzos without another seizure. On that front, I'm down to a couple of small doses per day, and am a few days away from stopping them altogether. Switching to Valium from Xanax before tapering was a brilliant idea and worked like a charm. Valium doesn't give you that roller coaster ride that Xanax or other short acting benzos do.
Avatar n tn I'm in my early 50's and not prone to allergies, but as I age I'm continually surprised by sensations etc. In my body that I was never aware of before...signs of wear. I don't smoke and don't have a history of headaches or migraines. I am curious to learn from other posters if this phenom iis just happening to those of us who are middle age or if younger people are experiencing it...and if anyone remembers its onset as coming after a bad headcold or sinusitis? It helps to know I'm not alone.
Avatar n tn It smells like I'm sitting in the middle of a casino surrounded by smokers without the fun of the slot machine. Actually I never go to the casinos because I hate the smell of smoke I guest know would be a good time to go. Why does know one ever come back to explain what they find out at the doctors? I will promise that I will. Thanks for listening I sick of friends and family being less than sympathetic. Good luck everyone........
Avatar n tn My mother-in-law has been in the hospital for 50 days with complications from cirrhosis. The doctor told us a month ago she is in "end stage liver disease". We have been through several paracentesis, dialysis practically every day, the mental confusion, the bloating. This is a horrible disease and a horrible way to go. She seems to be improving one day, then falls back again the next. The dialysis is not helping to remove the fluid at all, as it is not designed to.
Avatar n tn You might want to look at Thomas's recipe as something you might take when you are off the meds, a lot of people swear by it. Anyway, I apologize for asking a question on your post, but I once again screwed up, I need help!! I started taking the oxy's again, I need some uplifting posts today guys, I'm STRUGGLING and its not pretty. I hope all is well with everyone, keep it up!! P.S - how long have you been taking the hydro for??
Avatar f tn I have the same visions when I awake. I've seen a huge giant spider before I hurt myself by jumping out of bed to aviod it. I've also seen faces right in front of mine when waking up. I have seen images of people across the room. Once when I was little I saw a image of someone in a chair, but this illusion lasted for a hour or so, and I was frozen with fear (paralysis maybe). After I regain more conscienceness they go away and my heart slows down. But they do frighten me.
Avatar n tn I get up right away as the only way I can get rid of it is by walking (usually takes about 10 min before it subsides). Last time I felt flushed and thought I was going to faint. Very scarey. Doctor thought it was a blood clot but ultra sound didn't show anything. Has anyone had a diagnosis of this inner thigh pain. My inner thigh is sore to the touch for a couple of days after just like it was bruised. Anyone with similar symtoms?
