Seizure of cash

Common Questions and Answers about Seizure of cash

Avatar m tn I honestly don't remember much, I was in bed most days because I am fatigued beyond belief and my head would hurt so badly when I was on my feet for a few hours. I went back to the ER towards the end of April because of a massive seizure like episode, they couldn't do anything for me there so they referred me back to the same neurologist who denied me citing that he had already evaluated me and determined nothing was wrong.
Avatar f tn I always run out of pills early and then resort to buying them on the street or paying cash for early refills. I feel like such a mess. On top of this, I drink a bottle of wine every day and smoke a pack of cigarettes. I need help. I'm a pretty hearty individual but I am very afraid of what I will be facing with respect to withdrawal. What can I do to reduce the effects besides supplement with chocolate, juice, and vitamins?
147426 tn?1317269232 At least I was never accused of being neurotic or anything of that like. I was dismissed to rheumy and endocrinology, who both declared that this is neurological not their specialty. Also sent to rule out seizures. Been temporarily dx'd with migraine assoc vertigo and parkinson's associated dyskinesia. I did see a 3rd neuro, whose first question was "have you always been fat?" - that was also her last. Tried to see 2 who would not even see me without being already Dx'd.
Avatar n tn I was really hoping for a suggestion as to why I may have developed an indentation in the top of my head. At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it.
299260 tn?1304219705 A strong woman isn't afraid of anything… But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear. A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her… But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone. A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future… A woman of strength realiizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them. A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face… But a woman of strength wears grace.

Avatar f tn I could hardly see in front of me and had zero concept of spacial relations. I stumbled a bit, blinking and breathing deeply. After tucking my cash and receipt into my wallet, I tried to shrug it off yet again and leave the store. Minutes after the popping, I still couldn't regain myself completely and I was on the verge of having a panic attack. I braced myself up against the pharmacy building and called my parents. It took me about 15 minutes to recover from the incident. It was so scary.

Avatar m tn Please don't be embarrassed or ashamed. Most of us started on the path to addiction with an injury, and many of us still have chronic pain. We just manage it with alternate methods. How many days clean are you? Please stick around and keep posting. We are here to support you.
1393112 tn?1294907542 I have seen, what your describing, when a dog needs his Anal Glands expressed.....Part of the grooming process is to express the anal sacs...However, alot of Toy breeds need it done more often....You said his stool was loose in your original post......That's why I thought of this.....If the stool is not hard, the anal glands cannot empty on their own.....This alone can create the pain your describing.....I know this sounds too simple, but again, I've seen it....
Avatar f tn We could only get a total of 18 days inpatient and a total of 4 months outpatient covered by insurance and other available services. We thought she was doing well, and she of course, learned to hide it very well. If I hae learned anything from this whole horrible experience, addicts are devious, amazing liars. She managed to pull the wool over not only OUR eyes, but the outpatient counselors eyes as well!
Avatar n tn I'm still trying to get of Zanax without having a seizure (I've had 3 now), so I'm no AA poster boy. Good luck to you both.
Avatar dr m tn One of the most common excuses for not wanting to use CPAP is that "I travel a lot." Even after I explain that many people travel just fine with their CPAP machines, some people are stll reluctant. With advances in technology and increased awareness by the lay public, government officials and medical professionals about the importance of using CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea, traveling with CPAP, although initially a challenge, can be done with relative ease.
Avatar f tn I have a 10 week old malti-poo puppy named Cash. He weighs 1 lb, maybe 1.5 when he just ate. He was diagnosed with parvo Monday December 27th. He was put into the 24 hr animal hospital and given IV fluids, wormed, and put on antibiotics. They monitored his white blood count and after just a day they released him from treatment. He never exhibited any bloody stools or vomitting. He has been eating well and his stools are still loose although they have been firming up.
Avatar m tn It felt like something was out of place and would make sounds when I put my arms out in front of me and curl them in. Now these last 6 months, my ribs started bothering me too. It's the bottom left side. None of this is going away over time, nor is it really getting any worse. It just is and it's completely annoying. I can't sleep comfortably at all and I even bought a 400 dollar memoryfoam bed that I can't even enjoy. I can't afford to see a doctor.
Avatar n tn Recently I was told by an older polish lady I know that her daughter-in-law had at some point been giving her grandaughter medication that caused epilepsy on PURPOSE. I was told she had been doing this with the intention of recieving extra cash in the form of health care money (this was in poland). I'm curious and not a little disgusted. 1. Is this actually possible and has anyone heard of it happening? 2. If so what kind of drugs could cause epilepsy? Thank you for your help!
Avatar f tn Im sorry for not getting back to all of you I had a bad week. I was referred to a new Dr as mine was retiring and this Dr doesnt believe in Narcotics so I was taken off the vicodin--cold turkey. this Dr would not even give me enough to taper off. The only thing that works for the pain but what was worse was the withdrawls for 3 days. Needless to say I am seeing a new Dr this week.
186936 tn?1195559297 I had indeed done it again, left my wallet, £60 cash, and three cards sitting in the packing well of a checkout point with nothing to hide them but a french bread stick. A fed up supervisor and checkout girl stop dashing about as I assure them everything is OK, everything found, phone, keys, wallet everything accounted for but, I had done it again!!!!!!!!!! What had triggered it? I had a good 8 hours the night before, taken the meds, eaten properly. Why is this happening?
Avatar m tn But it is suspicious that your first and only post is this one. And, no----- I don't agree with you. (grin) Either do many others. Here is just one person's review of Envita: Quote: "short, simple, to the point. Understaffed. Dirty. (I have pictures of the filth if you don't believe me) Rude. --They don't understand. When you're tired, vomiting, having a seizure they tell you you're not trying hard enough. Excuse me? Uneducated.
Avatar n tn 14, I was taken to the hospital by ambulance having a seizure and was admitted to the hospital. They ran a bunch of tests one of which was an MRI and I was diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation left temporal lobe and since then I have been having seizures regularly 1 sometimes 2 per week. I am on Tegretol and Topamax. I am to go to Pittsburgh to a Seizure Specialist this week and next week to a Neurosurgeon. I'm still getting the migraines regularly.
Avatar m tn The attack on Korea in 1950 was one example. The seizure of our embassy in Iran and the capture of our personnel was another example. Only when a new President was elected who was perceived as being more likely to act were the captives released. The attack on Kuwait by Iraq was another example of a potential enemy believing that we were weak and would do nothing.
Avatar n tn Your symptoms are worrisome for a certain type of seizure called a complex partial seizure. Although you don't lose consciousness, it becomes impaired and you are unable to communicate effectively throughout the episode. A TIA is also a possibility as is complicated migraine, but these are less likely given the fact you just had a seizure couple months ago. Talk to your neurologist ASAP for appropriate management.
163305 tn?1333672171 Police in Pittsburgh have eagerly supplemented the revenue stream through the officially sanctioned theft called “civil asset forfeiture,” seizing more than $700,000 in cash and 11 vehicles in 2013-2014 (albeit much of the haul was collected subsequent to charges that generally resulted in a plea bargain). Special interest lobbyists associated with law enforcement are voluble in opposition to a proposed state bill that would place some restrictions on the practice.
Avatar m tn Tramadol is known to lower the seizure treshold and that risk goes up with increased dosage. The maximum pharmaceutical dose of tramadol is eight 50 mg tablets per day or two 50 mg tablets every 4 to 6 hours. How long has she been taking tramadol? I would suggest that you or your wife contact the prescribing physician of the tramadol and let him/her explain the situation to the physicians at the ER.
Avatar n tn Rene, I have really bad myoclonus too (probably as bad as you, I once accidentally flung the cash drawer out of the wall at my work, pretty cute). I was told by my neurologist that spinal myoclonus couldn't be the culprit, as I'd thought, since mine began virtually overnight after pulling my neck doing yoga, as it supposedly only causes repetitive jerking in a finger or a single area.
242532 tn?1269553979 On the flip side, however, people also overeat as a form of punishment. Using food, whether as a source of comfort or as a hostile act towards yourself or others, is still emotional eating. Do you eat to hurt yourself? Many overeaters have reported that they ate to punish themselves. It was an act of self-hatred. "I found myself eating ten Twix bars because I hated myself so much and it was a way to get back at myself," someone once shared.
331125 tn?1194907780 for nothing. He won't seizure. Not if the only problem is narcotics. You can tell him that lots of us in this forum have been where he is right now. We understand.
Avatar m tn But then his mood will crash and he'll be very concentrated on what he's thinking of, I don't know what he thinks of in these moments, but he does have these eppisodes, its not depression eppisodes, its just very concentrated "in his own world" eppisodes. His family life isn't great, after his mum died when he was two, his dad got a girl friend and she moved in when he was around 6. She moved in with her younger daughter, my friend doesn't get on with her at all. He hates her.
Avatar f tn "My poodle, Cash, had a cluster of seizures over a year and a half ago. I took him in and the vet said he had an infected tooth so gave him amoxicilin along with PB for seizures. He had been taking 2 pills a day but I would sometimes find the pill on the floor so I knew he was somehow getting them out of the treat. I told my pharmacist that and she said she was surprised he was given PB for only a cluster of seizures and suggest I drop it down to one a day.
