Avatar m tn 1. suddenly out of nowhere I feel nausea like the highest strength of nausea when you feel like you are going to puke the next moment (but you don't) 2. Simultaneously my saliva is starting to be generated like crazy, I could fill a trash can if I wanted, like rainfalls of saliva. 3. At the same moment i begin to burp like crazy. This mostly happens when I'm hungry (at night), sometimes during the day. I had like six of these during this week.

Avatar f tn had a migraine and nausea: didn't eat but kept hydrated: did not sleep well night before Seizure 2: had a stomach virus (or food poisoning) and kept hydrated but ate very little for approx 24 hours. Slightly sleep deprived, but not extreme. I have read that seizures related to hypoglycemia are non epileptic. Can someone confirm this? The neurologist basically said he couldn't find any epileptic tenancies and since it was only one seizure to not worry about it.
Avatar m tn First, some history - about 8 years ago my husband had a tension-pneumo thorax and had a chest tube placed. Several hours later he woke from sleep complaining of extreme nausea and being "hot" then suffered a syncopal episode along with what appeared to be a "seizure." Upon further evaluation the neuro determined it was a vasovagal reaction to the chest tube.

155701 tn?1230047101 what you are going through is probably ocular migraines along with a seizure disorder. This can occur before or after the seizure event. These headaches are temporarily related to the seizure event and occur in unison. Migraine event is not produced from the epileptiform discharges in the brain. Migraines usually last longer and are not as frequent, have other signs that distinguish them like photo and phonophobia, vascular quality(pounding), location( occipital in your case)in pain and nausea.
Avatar n tn Risperdal caused me to have a grand mal seizure. I was only on it for a month or so, and I was taking a fairly low dose (I don't remember precisely how much). Neither Abilify and Seroquel lasted long because of unpleasant side effects (nausea and twitching/akathesia). I took Zyprexa for several months before having to stop because it made my skin crawl. I went a few months without any medication, before receiving a prescription for Geodon. GEODON IS A TERRIBLE DRUG.
7205189 tn?1447794738 Within two minutes of waking up, nausea sky rockets and I feel as though if I move, I will throw up. Then (usually starting in my legs) my body begins shaking violently. Sometimes I get extremely hot during this and have various other symptoms but the shaking and extreme nausea are the worst. The other night, it was the worst it's ever been and my husband is convinced it's a seizure. My body shakes so violently that my muscles get tired and my teeth are chattering so hard.

Avatar n tn My roommate sat me down and I began to seize on my left side for approximately 20 seconds. I have no recollection of the seizure. I was taken to the ER where I was given anti seizure meds and had 3 ct scans, an MRI/MRA, EEG and EKG, all which came back normal. The neurologists on call decided to not begin me on meds, but really gave me little information to go on. Unfortunately, I am currently without health insurance, so my options are limited.
