94007 tn?1224766336 Thanks for that. A while back I decided, maybe convieniently for my rationalization purposes, that the isue was the riba. I began to subscribe to the theory 'riba til it hurts'. And in retrospect my hgb never reached those real hurting levels implying to me that I wasn't 'plasmatized' enough. To take it to the end of my thinking, tx sucked, but it didn't suck enough.

Avatar n tn My 3 yr old son was born in Russia, a difficult birth and Russian doctors said he had hypertension of the brain that they wished to treat medically upon birth. I did research on the web and consulted some US doctors over the phone. We also saw a western doctor in Moscow who said it was nothing and confirmed that about 90% of the children born in Russia also receive this diagnosis. US and West tend not to treat it while Russians treat it - just a different medical philosophy.
Avatar n tn Mine is at the top of my neck and right in the groove under the base of my skull. I also have a heavy feeling in my head and dizziness. Actually, I am having close to 10 dizzy spells a day. Hopefully, going to the doctor soon. My insurance is pulling out of my state and dropping me, so I don't want to see one just yet. I don't want a "preexsisting" condition not being covered. Glad to see some other people have this.
Avatar n tn My daughter has had CT scans, MRI's, MRA's, EEG's, blood work and was hospitalized at an epilepsy center in the video EEG monitoring unit for two separate weeks in May 2008 and September 2008. She was put on many different seizure medications. After the normal EEG results, she was taken off all medications. Her SED rate has always been high and she does have protein in her urine, but doctors do not seem concerned.

392042 tn?1200848460 I take tons of ultrams but hve never had a seizure from it. how common is it to have ultram induced seizures? could it be caused from just going cold turcky ?? or too much ultram in your body? and why are Doctors not aware of the addiction problems with this drug. even my own doctor told me that ultram was not addictive..
Avatar m tn I had to take 15 just to get out of bed in the morning. In early March I had decided that enough was enough. I had no money, bills piling up, and I had blown through all of my student loan money, and had borrowed hundreds of dollars from family and friends. I knew all about Suboxone, and how much it helped. I found a Doctor who prescribed it, and made an appointment. I started on a low dose of 4mg twice a day. It has been 2 months now, and I take 4mg 3 times a day.
Avatar n tn I stayed at the party for about 15 more minutes before i decided to go home and check to see if he was ok, as i walked in the door there was **** and puke all over my house and him. What happened and why? He doesnt remember a thing and it has been scaring me to death. Is this going to be a reaccuring thing or just a once in a life time mishap?
Avatar f tn I lost my job and ended up getting so behind in my bills I had to declare bankruptcy in 2005. I found out when I was in the hospital that i have a seizure disorder.....but seems to be caused by environmental/drugs. The sad thing is that it was actually working, i probably would have only been on it another wek. Now, I was just prescribed Chantix....because it does not have seizure as a side effect, but after taking the first pill something told me to read the pamphlet that came with it.
148588 tn?1465782409 Russia may have annexed the peninsula with almost no opposition, but what it got from its triumph was an imploding economy that is in no position to pay tribute, and in fact requires costly aid. Meanwhile, foreign investment in and lending to Russia proper more or less collapsed even before the oil price plunge turned the situation into a full-blown financial crisis. Which brings us to two big questions. First, why did Mr. Putin do something so stupid?

Avatar m tn These drugs will keep your cholesterol low and slow down the hardening of your arteries, which will eventually cause another heart attack. In some people it actually stops the disease in its tracks or improve the arteries. Troporol is your beta blocker which prevents your heart from working too hard, hence protecting it. If your arteries are in good shape, i.e. no occlusions, then sometimes a cardiologist will allow you to ween off these, slowly.
Avatar f tn so, anyone got some advice, besides the obvious of not having done this in the ist place????? thankyou in advance....
603015 tn?1329866573 It also lowers the seizure threshold and you could end up having a seizure. It is also extremely common so don't beat yourself up about it. Just try and figure out the issue so you don't do it again. If you have a therapist I would talk to them about it. If you don't have a therapist I would strongly suggest getting one. If money is an issue some places work on a sliding scale where you pay a lower price if you don't have the money. You'd have to ask around.

7052683 tn?1392942395 Molly's mom has rally been a tenacious advocate for her baby--like many of us. She is in Russia, but would be a great asset to our community due to her diligence in finding medical solutions. Thanks to everyone, you are always there with the right things to say from the heart as well as your experience.
544292 tn?1268886268 Theres a lot of conflicting information about seizures on the list. I've never seen anYone have a seizure in tramadol WITHDRAWAL. Have seen several people have seizures when TAKING tramadol. AND, every tramadol related seizure I saw did not seem related to how high a dose the person was taking; RATHER was in instances where someone markedly INCREASED their dose. I think the confusion is in that seizures are common when withdrawing from sedatives (alcohol, barbiturates, benzodiazapines etc).
Avatar n tn Whatever you do don't let your doctor put you on methadone though cause the withdrawls from that on a newborn infant could cause a very long stay in the hospital for your baby. It has similar withdrawls as to herion on a newborn, but some doctors prescribe it for percocet and vicodin withdrawls for pregnant women.hope this helps and good luck.
Avatar m tn Hi, I'm new here and stumbled upon this forum after googling for "MS Treatment vs. Non-Treatment." This past September I went to a walk-in clinic because of severe back pain and spasticity all along my left side that had been going on for a few weeks. I was uninsured and really had no idea what was happening. It was the first time I'd seen a doctor in 20 years at least (I'm 38.
Avatar n tn October 28, 1998 My father lives in Russia and he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor on the left side of his brain. The size of the tumor is 4.3 x 4.2 x 4.4 cm and there is 3.1 cm inflammation around it.
1847422 tn?1332870656 so Ive been around this forum quite a bit, and can relate to almost everyone's experiences... ive had MS like symptoms ALL my life.. even back into childhood, I can remember things that weren't normal over the last 7 years ive had several MRI's and last week as well.. ALL of them are negative all my blood work is normal.. I havent been able to get anyone to do an LP... my neurologist today said an LP is pointless without some other data to go along with it...

Avatar f tn I got hooked on Fioricet a few years ago, when it was prescribed to me for migraines, this was different , I went to the point of taking 14 pills a day more or less at the end,10 years later, quit when I was hospitalized for another reason, I did not have them, of course, and got a seizure, they put me in some kind of treatment and it was out of my body in about 4 days, never took them again, but now is a different story.
544292 tn?1268886268 I got an email this morning from my Mother who says she's coming here in September? I can't even think that far in advance. I'm thinking stuff like, "I have to brush my hair and take a shower." It seems like an insurmountable prospect! I have such respect for anyone who has come off Tramadol and .... I don't know ... maintained a life? Mud mud mud everywhere. Walking thru mud. I just took vitamins and a big cup of Lecithin granules which are supposed to decrease anxiety.
