Ketoconozole shampoo should help hair. I used a brand called Nizoral for years and it was the first thing I used that helped. You could also add some drops of tea tree oil to a regular shampoo. I can't use conditioner of any kind because it annoys my scalp. I get relief by soaking my scalp in a solution of warm water and Epsom salts though. If that is helpful you could take magnesium supplements like mag citrate and vitamin D3.
I have extremely dry scalp all over that flakes and itches so bad. I've tried Head 'n' Shoulders, Selsen Blue, Green Tea Tree Oil...everything...when I initially wash my hair it works. But by that evening or the next morning it's back. When I try to use conditioners to help, my hair gets so oily I can't stand it. I don't blow dry my hair anymore because it makes it worse faster. I'm just at a loss of what to else to do to make it go away!!
ve been bagging my clothing, changing clothes multiple times per day and vacuuming and doing laundry daily and self-treating with a series of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications and supplies such as tea tree oil and coconut oil (applied to the skin) and bathing nightly in borax/epsom salts water (5x/week) and dilute bleach (2 x/week).
) of treating few skin tags/moles/age spots on my face and neck consistently twice a day using tea tree oil (melaleuca). they have all enlarged and darkened as seen in pics but have not yet fallen off. when can i expect them to fall off? i don't want to risk peeling them off at this stage

i used it with normal honey, not a cheap but a high priced one...it should not have sugars added
i live in Albania and here is difficult to find virgin coconut oil
so i used just the honey mask...
I have suffered with Seborrheic dermatitis for over two years, I have seen doctors and a Dermatologist and i came across this hair oil called Somaluxe Argan Oil and my red patches have nearly gone (I have bee using it for around a week every night) and the scales have disappeared. I had it quiet bad round my mouth, ears and eyes and it has nearly gone...... I'm so happy with the result!
The most likely differential for this is a severe case of seborrheic dermatitis. The cause for seborrheic dermatitis is yet unknown and there is no definite form of medical therapy as this condition may recur. Others have associated yeast infections with it. While some have implicated stress and environmental factors. You may seek second opinion for your condition.

(I used about 2 TBS of coconut oil with 3-5 drops of Tea Tree Oil) I washed my face morning and night and then applied the blend of Coconut oil and Tea Tree oil to my face before bedtime.
I did this along with the Minocycline and 4 weeks later there is just a slight redness but no bumps, oozing sores or swelling. Worked for me and might be worth a try for you. I have tried mixing baking soda with my face wash and using tea tree oil as a toner. They both seem to somewhat help, but my acne still looks very bad. I can only do baking soda once a week or every few days since it is so harsh, so I have been using tea tree oil on the off days. I am not sure if I am using too many products on my skin, but today it was flaking off like dandruff. I had very clear skin before the rash, and now it looks like I have severe acne.

just really worried about whether tea tree oil is safe now, after an article i read said it may not be. look it up and decide for yourself. people say its natural
maybe dilute the tea tree oil with another thing to make it safer?

On July 5th the folliculitis got worse and I developed these bumps in the area of the folliculitis along with pain and intense itching. I was using tea tree oil at that time but wasn't using the antibiotic yet. The folliculitis was spreading. I began using the clindamycin on July 9th and the T-Gel on July 18th. The folliculitis began to settle down and improve.
I was told by my dermo that I had Seborrheic dermatitis. It was dry itchy and scaly under my beard, in the nose folds, ears and eyebrows. I was given desonate gel to use for 2 weeks and things calmed down. However now I just have a redness itchy forehead. I put moisture cream o it and it doesnt really help. Is this still donsidered Seborrheic dermatitis? And would the desonate gel still be the right rx to use?
hi 28 year old male i have Seborrheic Dermatitis however lupus has not bean ruled out i have negative ana test but have had lots of systoms anyway just wanted to know does Seborrheic Dermatitis cause white spots they appear on my Shoulders I also get a load of red spots on my back and Shoulders ive also bean getting a shaking in my right arm for the past couple of days

It has been seen that application of lavender oil,tea tree oil and evening primrose oil is helpful in the reduction of itching of eczema.Its basic purpose is soothing of skin which can be done by calamine also.Tea is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which also have anti-inflammatory activity.
Application of tea is fine but pls don’t use any Chinese herbal cream. Many of the Chinese herbal creams available have been tested and high amounts of steroid medications have been discovered.
