Avatar n tn If you google 'how to find an LLMD' or go to the ILADS [dot] org website, you may find some links there. I don't know that anyone currently posting here is in Georgia. You could also try "Lyme Georgia" and see what pops up. LLMDs names are usually not posted here, because of the disapproval they sometimes encounter from their local medical boards in treating to ILADS standards more than to IDSA standards. Good luck -- check back here if you don't find what you need.
Avatar f tn Anyone else on here from GA? I live in Gwinnett, Ga. About 25 minutes from Atlanta!
Avatar f tn I live in Marietta and delivered my first at northside. They were amazing!
1432912 tn?1309269918 I live in central missouri, so I am kinda familiar with southern names.... I LOVE Gerogia. It has always been one of my favorite names! honestly with Bryar, it is bad association for me.... Last year when I was subbing, there was this whiny little boy who ALWAYS wet his pants & had snot on his face named Bryar. I can't get past that. Everytime I hear that name I think of that kid. Poor kid. I think he was kinda uncared for. always dirty & needed a hair washing.
Avatar m tn My big fear is epilepsy Oxy use to make me shake and bite my tongue but since i been on 200mg Lamictal it has stopped I read Flexeril may cause seizure but then I also read the opposite. Even if I am not epileptic I like to play it safe as my Doc is out, and the pharmacy worker never seems to know anything. So does Flexeril increase seizure risk or is that just for (diagnosed) epileptics? I don't want to add it to the oxy and have a attack.
176495 tn?1301280412 Hi, no, was unable to see them for Christmas, Sara...they're way down south in beautiful Georgia and I'm up here in snow, windy cold New Hamsphire...I did talk to them...I answered the phone to hear my grandaughter say "Hi Grandpa!" which just made my day..and of course my grandson's ramblings which I've yet to translate very well. Had a nice Christmas, took time to relax...hope everybody else had a good one..

Avatar n tn The cardiologist right away said he thought it was NCS, poss with a seizure disorder too. We did have a tilt table, he bcame sick (nausea and chest pain) and his heart rate dropped from 122 to 70 in a matter of one minute, The Dr. stopped the test, and they didn't get a bp. We started him on increased fluids 4 quarts water, 2 -20 oz gatoraides daily.
Avatar m tn Does anyone know of a detox in Georgia. I've beencalling ones I found online but can't seem to find one that will take me now. I've been on a binge and really need help. I've never been to one before but have been analcoholic for 25 years.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had anything like this happen to them or can anyone tell me where to turn. We need some answers. My husband has never had a seizure in his life until this and there is no family history. Also, his potassium and sodium levels were fine three weeks before this incident because he had just had labs done. So, his levels dropped quickly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn She had 1 seizure in ambulance, 2 more in the ER. Cat Scan showed nothing. She was put on seizure medication, but seizures continued. She was also given bacterial and fungal medication, in case of encyphillitis, etc., Ran every possible test imaginable, all came back negative. Spinal Fluid showed elevated white blood cells. Doctors could not figure out what was causing her seizures. Seizure medication was changed, but seizures continued.
Avatar f tn ve noticed increased seizure activity and forgetfulness. Also, irritability and nervousness. Has anyone else had this or similar experience? Also, if so, what/if anything helped?
Avatar f tn get to a meeting, find a group you are happy with and stick with it, I was told 90 meetings in 90 days when I first went to AA, I did this and more, when I first went to AA it was because I had to, I needed the help, today 7 years later I still need that support but I go because I want to go, I enjoy meeting up with friends etc......
1797240 tn?1315625968 Welcome -- Well ... I am guessing you are thinking it might be Lyme ... yes? Twitching, buzzing, muscular pain (mine was more like cramping), lousy memory, irregular heart rate ... all those are associated with Lyme. Doesn't mean you have Lyme, but I think it is worth considering (tho I'm not medically trained.) Lupus is a common (mis)diagnosis that a number of people who come here to this site have received.
Avatar n tn Looking for a Chiari Specialist in Alabama, North Georgia, South Tennessee, or East Mississippi?

572072 tn?1217126880 My 2 year old son has been having seizures since he was 6 months old. They have worse over time. Today I took him into the hospital (his dr's office was not open today) for swollen tonsils to get meds in him before the illness got worse as his seizures get worse when he is sick.
Avatar n tn I thought it might be seizure activity, but I took an EEG, MRI, and EKG in high school all disproving macro seizure-related activity. I have always had perfect vision despite the random flashes that have been happening every day. My doctors all tell me that I'm fine, and a neurologist told me that it may be symptoms of atypical migraines, in which I don't feel pain (unrelated to eye care/vision). Do you notice you feel a lot of anxiety come on when you see flashes?
