I completed the course of penicillin and had to return to the Doctors to test kidneys to make sure no complications following the fever but my throat still hurt. I have now been diagnosed with tonsillitis and am on another 10 day course of antibiotics. A throat swab has been taken this time to analyse what it is.
This has been the third lot of antibiotics in the past three months for tonsil infections. Basically the doctor askd how attached he was to his tonsils because he was going to refer him to ENT at the hospital.
Then yesterday afternoon my Son became more drowsy just stirring to say he had stomach ache. He was passing dreadful wind so put it down to that. He then vomitted. An hour or so later I noticed a fine rash all over his tummy.
To begin with, I have always been easy to get sick from anything. When I was little, I had had scarlet fever, food poisonings, chicken pox, allergies to washing machine powders/antibiotics and cats and I have had all my life constipation (though now that I am smoking it has gone away) and my right tonsil is enlarged +Every time I go on vacation I have lowgrade fever.
When I was 17 years old I got the swine flu.

You have not mentioned your daughter’s age. If your daughter is a child then the possibility of rocky mountain spotted fever, Kawasaki disease and scarlet fever are there. Rash in all these involves the palms and soles and is a red, shiny rash. Investigations and blood tests are needed to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Without an outbreak, it's perfectly fine to share food, and with the same utensils. For the reasons discussed, the risk won't be zero, but it will be extremely low. You guys could probably live together, sharing food as much as you like, for your entire lives and she would never get it. Her chance of infection comes mostly from you kissing her, or by oral sex -- and I definitely would not tell you to avoid them!

Im concerned about my almost 4year old son who has recently finished a 5day course of antibiotics- penicillin, for scarlet fever, its the first time he's had them. within a day or so of finishing the course he is having pains in his tummy which seem to come on mainly from walking any further than around the house, and also sometimes eating.iv just bought some probiotics and am hoping thats all thats needed?
Id be really grateful to hear from anyone with similer experience or advice??

He started taking it and 3rd day his fever was gone, rash was gone. I sent him to day care for one day as I had to go to office and he came back with minor fever again. We thought his antibiotics is still not finished may be he will be fine. Next morning his legs badly hurt. Then I notice he was starting pink eye. And some different kind of rash on his back of knees, thighs, upper legs, and back of the arms near the joints and back of wrists.
5 days later she had a fever and blocked nose and throat infection.no signs of outbreak. My mother took her to doctor, she was put on anti biotite and within 1 day was her normal self. Now 4 weeks later she has fever again, blocked nose and cough. But no sign of outbreak. No sign of irritation between her legs. My question is. Could she be having flu type symptoms with no physical visible outbreak, but the flu symptoms are being caused by the hsv2 virus. I am fretting.

There is one disease that is described as sandpaper-like texture and that is SCARLET FEVER due to Group A Streptococci. We just saw a child with sandpaper-like texture had no symptoms but a few days later had a sore throat and then developed Strep. Take your child to a Peds Doctor and have the throat cultured.

the disease usually comes along a couple of weeks after someone has popped up with a stubborn strep infection like strep throat or scarlet fever (which is almost unheard of these days w. the scarlet fever).
