Avatar f tn We ensure that our hearing aid batteries are not merely up-to-date but are also backed up with maximum battery life. We make it a point that all batteries are packaged and supplied in easy-to-open storage forms and are properly sealed so they are kept fresh until ready to use. Every pack of batteries holds six cells and the packets are suitably color coded to make the selection of battery size easier.
Avatar f tn I did call the local poison control in the area, and they did not seem concerned. The batteries are being replaced tomorrow, so how long until it is safe to be back in the RV too? Thank you.

Officials said the rate is much lower than in higher-security prisons. Inmate firefighters are housed in 43 unfenced, minimum-security camps scattered across the state.
Avatar m tn It would be nice if your mom had a little plastic door that could be popped open and the old batteries taken out and a new set of double A's dropped in. Such is not the case though, obviously. In fact "battery replacement" is a misnomer. In actuality, the entire pacemaker is replaced. The leads from the heart are literally unplugged from the unit, the old unit is removed, and replaced by a completely new one loaded with a fresh battery.
561705 tn?1234546159 My poll question is for those in or post treatment What are some of the things you found helpful to do (or not to do) during treatment that you feel really made a difference with regards to sx. The literature that accompanies Pegasys and Riba as well as the Doc are seriously lacking in any advice beyond where to stick it.
Avatar n tn My grand daughter is almost 8 yrs old and she is constantly putting button batteries in her mouth. She steels my hearing aide batteries and has taken button batteries out of her light up toys that she has with a screw driver. She doesn't swallow them and I have told her how dangerous it is and she promises to stop and I catch her again and again. She almost seems addicted to them. When I find them it's as if I found her stash. I have asked my Doctor and he never heard of such a thing.
Avatar n tn The pacemaker batteries( it is understood ) lasts for 5 to 8 years.Later on you may need to either replace the same or prefer a new device.
Avatar m tn Essentially, if these batteries are leaking you need to contact your safety supervisor to know permissible exposure limit (1 mg/m³) of sulfuric acid fumes. Exposure to sulfuric acid aerosols at high concentrations is a potential occupational health hazard and may lead to immediate and severe irritation of the eyes, respiratory tract and mucous membranes and there is a risk of subsequent pulmonary edema if tissue damage has been more severe.
559001 tn?1220578207 You can be amazed on how much you will learn about someone just by being open. Even someone who you have been with for a long time. Experiment is the best.
Avatar m tn Hello, When batteries get wet or damp, sulfuric acid may be present in the air as small droplets or attached to other small airborne particulates (for example, dust). Sulfuric acid is extremely irritating to skin, mucous membranes (eyes, inside of the nose, throat), and to the upper airway (trachea) and to the lungs. Inhalation of sulfuric acid droplets can cause a chemical pneumonitis (inflammation in the lungs).

906115 tn?1344200509 So wanted to let you new mama's on in a secret to opening presents with littel ones, WHen wrapping them take them completly out of the box, undo every tie and loose box piece, put the batteries in them, TURN THEM IN THE OFF position:) haha you don't want someone shaking the box and music play, then re-wrap them back up. I use a small amount of tape if needed to stick it to the box, like the ones that only have the actual box on three sides.

293845 tn?1227997530 I had a Graco one already (that takes batteries), but it takes like 4 D size batteries at a time. If your baby spends a lot of time in his/her swing, (as does mine), it can get really expensive. I STRONGLY recommend it. It's like $120 but like I said, I save so much in batteries, so to me, it was worth the extra money.
Avatar f tn I have spoken to him about chewing on batteries and the dangers of chewing batteries.

Avatar m tn I have only had 3 sexual partners during the period of time that I could have caught chlamydia, but I only had unprotected sex with 1 of those partners (I have sex with this female fairly frequently). 293845 tn?1227997530 My batteries are good- the alarm goes off everytime I burn toast! I am going to be a safety freak now.. but thats not a bad thing. But my bf is getting concerned about me and wants me to come to bed and relax.. so thanks so much for talkin, it really helped me feel less freaked out. I owe you one!
Avatar f tn How do you know the "batteries need replacing"? Modern pacemakers don't just "die". When the battery voltage drops to a certain level. The pacemaker will go into an "end of life mode" (battery, not person). It's sort of a last ditch conservation mode until the battery can be replaced. What happens then is the pacemaker will fire to a preset pulse rate. It will no longer take into account what the user's heart is doing.
Avatar f tn When there is a storm try and focus on something else. If you don't concentrate on your fear you won't have the panic attack. If it makes you feel better maybe you should talk to your parents about an emergency plan Set up a meeting place or know where to go for shelter if for some reason you couldn't' stay in your house. Make sure you have flashlights and batteries on hand.
Avatar f tn 5 mg of Paxil CR for about 3 years, I had the blues after my last baby and she will be 4 this year and I also got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I continually fight with myself over getting off of it but it does so much for me that I dont want to. My question is will it harm me in any way for staying on it? I dont want to cause any more problems for myself by staying on it but evidently I lack serotonin and the paxil replaces it. Any info that you might give me would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn me and my boyfriend (long distance) have both admitted to each other we're virgins. we've also discovered i'm the one with more experience. he's never gotten a ******** or a hand job, etc. i'm going over to visit him for a while in the summer, i've arranged to get on the birth control pill, and had mutliple talks with my mother and experienced friends about it's use in preventing pregnancies.
Avatar n tn I agree with the above poster. Your Dr knows best. I do know several people that have had stents and heart attacks and tmany of their Drs have said if you can walk up 2 flights of stairs briskly and not be out of breath then sex is safe. Do check with your Dr first though.
Avatar f tn In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!
Avatar n tn I have had a small glass twice during my pregnancy. The dr had no problem with it as long as is wasnt much and wasnt on a regular basis. They said it can also be good for you but not if you reach a point where you are affected in any way.
