Avatar f tn I really wish they had an at home, hand held machine where you could do your own ultrasounds. Ya know just so you could see your baby anytime you wanted too etc!
Avatar f tn But now he stays home even more.He spends most of his day either sleeping or in front of computer! Needless to say the situation in the house is very unbalanced and I have moved out.He is very unpredictable and you ever know when he is going to be in a good or bad mood and there to me seems to be a lot of pent up anger. We are all currently living abroad so there is no family to help or ontervene except myself. Is there any suggestions for how I go about helping them please?
Avatar f tn Well, it certainly should help him fall asleep sooner - which may be her idea. It sounds like you have researched this pretty well. I don't think our opinion is going to matter much to your ex. I think you will need to find a professional for that. I was able to find one report from consumers union which I am posting here as you need the paid subscription to read it. (don't tell). Hope this helps. Avatar f tn t want to take it, I figure I will never have to, so why bother, so good for you! As for your safe zone, the sooner you get away from that the better, the longer you stay in that zone the harder it is to break free. Always try no matter what it is, NOT TO GIVE YOUR BRAIN A REASON TO SENSE FEAR! I use to know where every hospital was, but now in San Diego I Never look for one, these safety devices just send a messege to our brain that danger is present.

Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 7Weeks along, and I'm a registered nurse in home care. A client I see often has 6 dogs, all of different breeds a cat, and a bunch of birds. The house is unclean. There is often dog feces and urine on the floor and the birds are allowed to fly around and poop where they please. My concern is that being in this house may be unsafe for me and my child. Any thoughts?
4981292 tn?1381256805 My hospital doesn't have nursery either. They do everything they need to right there in your room. The baby doesn't leave your room unless there is something seriously wrong.
Avatar f tn There was controversy over them a few years ago, but the facts are simple.
Avatar n tn If home birth is what your going for please have someone like a midwife standing by in case of an emergency. I didn't go that route I had a natural unmedicated birth at a hospital.
7552771 tn?1469929649 I think if you talk to him about how natural birth is and how women have been having babies at home for practically all of history and if you maybe had some statistics about the safety of home birth that might be helpful. Also if you explain how it all works - that there won't be blood and goo and such all over the living room or something (I feel like ppl think that sometimes) - that might be helpful.
Avatar f tn I would recommend you waiting till your in your second trimester to start exercising cause the baby's so small and fragile any wrong move could cause your body to try to expel the baby but it is safe as long as your body is excepting it & your comfortable don't push yourself to hard or lift to heavy I'm 25 weeks & still work out like a champ every other day
Avatar n tn This is a legitimate question for your cardiologist, who knows about your condition and level of fitness and can weigh the risks.
Avatar f tn As much as I wish I could give you the answer you're seeking, you really need to address this with your doctor, especially in light of the MS. We are not doctors on this side of the forum and you need real medical advice as opposed to mere "opinions," which is all we can offer you here. I do know there are far more natural ways to get serotonin and that is something you can discuss with your docs.
Avatar n tn You can sleep on right side as well . You can try doing it now though to get used to it . Later on in pregnancy if you wake up on your back just roll over baby is ok . He or she will most likely make you uncomfortable before anything bad happens your body will signal a response to you most likely . I had thos worry and sometimes I still wake up on my back just get used it your side sleeping now while its still comfortable for you .
1932244 tn?1323292210 For this reason, you should be sure to consult with a high-risk pregnancy specialist or other experienced OB/GYN early in your next pregnancy and ideally before conception. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Avatar n tn I'm seriously considering home birth as well. But I live in town where gerting to a hospital in an emergency is easy. My midwife is also a long time friend who has done numerous home births. If you have a good midwife...they will know what risks you have and they will tell you if you need to go to the hospital. I'm more concerned with minor things such as I will have no access to pain meds if I change my mind halfway through labor. Still....its a minor thing.
Avatar n tn I have had a small glass twice during my pregnancy. The dr had no problem with it as long as is wasnt much and wasnt on a regular basis. They said it can also be good for you but not if you reach a point where you are affected in any way.
Avatar f tn It IS better, but anyway you sleep is pretty much Ok. The most important thing is that you sleep. I'm a tummy sleeper so once I got to where it was just generally uncomfortable to sleep that way I was kind of forced into sleeping in other positions, but sleep as you are must conferrable especially this early on. Your belly is not bug enough to impede any blood/ oxygen flow, and trust me your body will move you if it's time to move for your or baby's safety!
