I used to work at a hospital and they never allowed housekeepers or nurses that were pregnant to be assigned to those rooms for safety purposes.

I have a question for the nurses. I jammed my pinky finger somehow on Saturday. Its really swollen and hurts around the knuckle. Should I just tape it to the ring finger and let it heal? It feels a little better that way. I just don't feel like going to the doctor?

I had my induction scheduled for this morning. My doctor called and said they don't have enough nurses to cover it! What!!! They new I was coming, it's been scheduled for 3 days, they should have had a few more nurses on to cover inductions. It's just ridiculous. Hoping they'll still be able to get me in sometime today. I went to my local NHS GUM at 3 weeks for advice (not knowning the window periods.I wonder if the nurse also did for she decided ti to test me at 24 days (this to the best of my knowledge was a 4th GEN). I had to wait 2 weeks for my results and after a VERY stressful fortnight, they came back negative. Relieved, at week six I got a very dry mouth. Concerned, I phoned up the GUM clinic again, there a health adviser told me the nurse had got the timing wrong and it should have been 28 days.

So today i was out shopping, didnt notice where i was and turned and my belly brushed the metal on a low freezer and got the crap zapped outta me so i start trying to see if baby boy would move, he didnt for over forty five minutes so i called l&d they said tp get him monitored and i was closer to a different hospital so i went there and omg.

I hate rude nurses! I'd ask for that specific nurse to be replaced and not come into your room anymore.

In Australia there is a site called kidsafe that rates all available car seats, prams, strollers, cots etc that are available. It rates everything from safety through to prices. Just wondering if perhaps the US has a similar site!
