No tattoo artist is going to reuse a needle on you. Believe me. They have been trained on safety precautions. They can't be an artist without passing tests and courses- these include bloodborne pathogen safety protocols. No one reused a needle on you. This can't even happen by accident. No one is going to leave a used needle laying around, pick it up, then use it on the next customer. This DOES NOT happen. Doing something like this places the artist at way more risk than the customer.

Minimally, your employer should have provided you with educational materials about bloodborne pathogens which would have provided the information you received from the good folks here. In a lab setting, familiarity with common pathogens, their risk factors, and safety measures will not only prevent lab hazards and error, it will help protect your health and that of your co-workers. Unfortunately, the CPap machines need to be cleaned and primed and set specifically for the individual.
I have a friend who has one and hasn't used it in about a year because she has to take it in to have it serviced and she has trouble remembering to take it - also her income is low and she doesn't have the funds to have it cleaned and primed. - She also needs to go to another sleep study to have it "set" to her individual needs.
