Avatar m tn today I was playing beach volleyball and fell on the sand with my palms open. and there was an abandoned needle that stock me. it really hurts. what do I do?
Avatar f tn We can watch the fireworks from the pool area! The grownups like to eat and the kids love the water. Everybody wins! I will have to find the local parade as well! Regardless of your plans, I wish you all a wonderful 4th!
675347 tn?1365460645 Things like cream, brandy butter, and more or less anything else you can think of which humans think are tasty treats, are dangerous for dogs. At the least they can cause Acute Pancreatitis. And no one wants to have to dash to the emergency vet on Christmas Day!
199177 tn?1490498534 Family and I do the beach thing in a condo on the coast the last two years and it is nice. Isn't it funny though when you do something you don't appreciate it as much until it is gone. Sad human nature. I would like to go back overseas this time with the family and not have any problems there or safety issues so they could have a great time.
Avatar f tn Even when I swim or lay out on the beach the rash only develops on my lips and around the mouth. Almost instantly I can feel my lips as being raw. Is this something that can be handled with immunotherapy?? I've tried a dermatologist but by the time an appointment is made...the rash is gone and they're not able to help me.
8255052 tn?1399861806 I went to the beach here in Texas today I must say totally different experience with no Corona in my hand! Lol but my Lil baby was kicking up a storm I think for sure she will be like her big sister and have to be told "the sharks are coming out!" For her to get out the water! Lol #sundayfunday hope everyone else is having a fab weekend!
Avatar f tn t tip over or fail to cover the baby if the sun moves. (A giant beach umbrella pushed deep into the sand, so there is only maybe three feet from the sand to the umbrella, would be protective and also keep people from stepping on the baby if he is sleeping in his little seat.) Another issue is just general safety ... he needs to be in a place where he can't be run over by kids, hit with a stray ball, tripped on by a guy getting a beer out of the cooler, licked by a dog, etc.
4928337 tn?1362751166 Omg the beach sounds so good. So sad I live in Hawaii but haven't gone to the beach for months! I think we do that this week. Today is my best friends dad funeral. So I will be helping her set up and what not after I finish work. Hope you and your family have a blast!
Avatar f tn I'm like that, too.. Except we were at the beach this weekend and on the long drive down, we had to stop at a truck stop and let me out so I could go to the bathroom.. It's not the best place to go, but I couldn't hold it any longer!
Avatar f tn If u live near the beach. You can try walking the beach then sit at the sea side and let the tide keep hitting against your stomach. My friend was having contractions around 2 am and she went to the hospital but was only 1cm so she Goya send home. Went to the beach that evening and 10 pm she was in active labor. Had her son 1am the next day.
Avatar f tn Simple, just don't watch them! I don't care if they're running all over the earth, they're her kids, make her deal with them, and don't give in! Just enjoy your day at the beach as if she and her kids weren't there!
Avatar f tn I had some problems accepting this over the Christmas Holiday and Birthday for one of the kids. Well it is spring break and the kids daddy picked em up yesterday and took em to Oh for 10 days. Upon the advice of all here, I have tried to accept this situation and let me tell you it is easier said than done. Today I am just sad, but if they are going to do this I do hope for their sake it works. When does being a mom get easier....
Avatar f tn Makes sense to me too.... Is this some more of the "instant gratification"? Mom and Dad both had a hard day at work, the kids "only" had to go to school.........Dad wants to go have a couple drinks with his buddies, mom wants to go the gym or book club -- sure we can let the video games entertain the kids for a couple hours.
405614 tn?1329144114 m going to Orlando in June, and want to see the Atlantic ocean for the first time. Looking at the map, the most direct route takes me to the Kennedy Space Center. While this might be very interesting, I'm hoping to just walk on the beach, maybe visit a nice town for breakfast or something. So, for people who know the area, which way should I go, north or south of the space center? Do you know of any nice places to visit?
Avatar n tn For those with two kids, how do you have your carseats arranged? One in the middle, one on the end? Or both on each ends? I have a two year old, and due in dec. Thanks!
Avatar f tn First, my almost five year old boy refuses to go to the pool or in the water at the beach or a water park. The ironic thing is, he has no trouble with showers or baths, even lets us pour water over his head when washing his hair with no issues. It is to the point where he even refuses to take his bathing suit with him to daycare on waterplay day and is already refusing to wear it to the beach during our upcoming vacation because "if you wear a bathing suit you have to get wet.
Avatar m tn ve been to a hair saloon to shave my beard and the guy who has done shaving noticed pimples on my neck and he started to remove small hairs from these pimples by Using a Safety pin to pop pimples by a collector and he told that he has heaten the safety pin and it is a new one but I did not see if it is new, may be it was used by someone else and I did check if there was any blood on the top of the pin,am I at risk or shall do a test to calm my self specially I am a married persons with beautiful
973741 tn?1342342773 we thought it would be cool to stay right on Times Square in the heart of the action . . . not so much. Overwhelming for the kids, wall to wall people. We had fun but it was NOT relaxing!
Avatar f tn I will have my daughter in a sleeper for the first month at least. I want her right next to me. The crib is safe, but I will be more comfortable with the sleeper.
Avatar f tn is she the one who had the seizure problem?
721523 tn?1331581802 I need to round up the family photoes and kepsakes, load the car and pack snacks and milk for the kids. Oh, and all the important papers are in the file box... Long night....
669941 tn?1252480058 Hello and welcome....I don't believe "Right Now" is a good idea, either. It sounds as if you already have your hands full and with another baby coming; adding a puppy (Of any kind) to the mix is a mistake, IMO. Puppies require alot of attention and direction. It wouldn't be fair to him/her or to you trying to attend to everyone and train a puppy. One rescue, that I'm familiar with, will NOT adopt to families with children under 10. There's a reason for this.
405614 tn?1329144114 I did have lobster and gulf shrimp at the hotel restaurant where we were staying in Clearwater Beach. It was yummy, but the lobster was a little rubbery. I'll have to try fresh cooked lobster sometime. Honeymoon Island was gorgeous, but my hat, the wind and my feet in the water made me feel comfortable, so I stayed out longer than I should have. My dizziness that I've been doing vestibular rehab for came back with a vengence and I got really fatigued.
649848 tn?1534633700 I totally agree & have been a lot stricter on my kids than myself up until I decided to lose the weight. It doesn't mean they want the bad stuff any less, but around here it is a treat not the norm & always in small amounts. The biggest problem I have had with the kids eating bad stuff is with the grandparents. No offense to any grandparents on here, but my kids' GPs think that pizza, lunchables, junk food cereal, ice cream, & candy are fine because that's what they want.
