I do know there is a Private hospital at Gaborone and which supposedly offers a high level of treatment. Your sister could perhaps travel across the border to Johannesburg where there would be far more options available. But if that were the case, I would Only recommend that she went to one of the Private Clinic's in Sandton or Rosebank (or similar).
I have no idea what the cost would be.

My husband has been complaining with this pain slightly to left of shoulder blade. The other day at airport going thru security & he entered for the full body scan. This is the third time this has happened but the area where he has his pain, shoulder blade, it shows up on the scan as a yellow square!! Could the body scan for security actually detect cancer or inflamed muscle?? What would cause this to show up exactly where he is having pain??

I traveled recently and went through an airport that has the new full body screening machines. Since I have had a mastectomy and use a pocketed bra with prostheses, I was pulled aside as a possible terrorist. After pulling me aside and taking me to a private screening room, my clothes were tested for explosives and I was patted down. Of course, none were found, so I was immediately allowed to proceed to the boarding gate. You should know that silicone scans the same as plastic explosives.

CHICAGO — Travelers dismayed by airport body scans are headed to airports Wednesday with the makings of any good protest: handmade fliers, eye-catching placards, slogan-bearing T-shirts — and Scottish kilts.
The loosely organized effort dubbed National Opt-Out Day hopes to highlight what some call unnecessarily intrusive security screenings.
