I've heard that somewhat soft and slower music is better, particularly harmonious, soothing music, like guitar, violin, piano, classical. Its recommended to avoid anything harsh or brash or discordant or startling. Its also strongly recommended not to use headphones or music directly against your belly as that amplifies sounds too loudly. I'd think bluegrass or country would be fine. I do a lot of classical or soft folksy stuff myself.

So I am unusually sad today. I know this can be normal and I know it will pass. Just finished 9th week shot last friday...covered in nasty rash from incivek...4 weeks to go and finished incivek. This is my second Tx go..relapsed after Tx was stopped last time...THis time Trace detected at 4 weeks...just wondering how others are feeling and questioning how I can possibly go through this for 48 weeks...feeling like weeping, so I am...hope others are feeling better..

I have a few mostly old. "Brother Can You Spare a Dime,"by various artists, a song that came out after the 1st World War, Neil Diamond's,"Sweet Caroline," I only put the names of two because my list is about 75 years long. I love music and have no problem listening to anything from opera to rap.

So two nights ago I got absolutely no sleep. I was angry over something and it was keeping me awake, also I had a song stuck in my head that was also part of the racing thoughts in my mind keeping me up. So yesterday I was operating like a zombie and the same song was still in my head. I've created a new anxiety for myself, "when will this song stop playing in my head" and it's driving me insane.
I cry at EVERYTHING! The song daddy's little girl came on and I was crying. Then another song came on and couldn't stop myself lol.

There is still a small amount of pain, but I am very aware of how much strength I am losing in my finger. I am due to start a Masters in university playing violin in 5 weeks so need to start rehabilitation of the finger as soon as possible, but don't want to further injure the finger.
