Avatar f tn I love GaGa, too! She's a very talented and she's keeps it real.....not a fake bone in her body! And, some of you that haven't seen some of her live interviews, would be surprised to know how intelligent she is. Check out some of her interviews on YouTube!
Avatar m tn I said, who told you these words and they told me the boy in their class (who lives down the street). I came home and looked up the words on Urban Dictionary and was shocked at what I was reading. These were vulgar, violent, sexual slang words. I am now sure what to do now, do I call the school? Talk to the boys mother? Or just talk to my daughter in private and explain that these words should not be used.

Avatar f tn Hi...I am a 48 year old woman, and I have an issue that is probably common, but very embarrassing for me. I've checked around the internet to find answers as to what I can do to help with this, but had no luck - I'm not exactly sure what the medical term for this is. It's known in the Urban Dictionary as "*** flower".

So I want the Chicco Urban Stroller but my best friend added it her registry and I don't want her to think I'm copying her or anything. Are there any strollers just like this? Avatar f tn The definition of HOCD taken from the urban dictionary - I especially like the analogy to feeling like you want to jump off a cliff when afraid of heights. HOCD is a form of obsessive compulsive disorder that deals with one's sexual identity. It's based around the fear that one might become or somehow is homosexual, with this notion going against all rational and actuality of that person's sexual identity as a heterosexual.

Avatar f tn The rate may be higher in certain rural areas of the southeast than in urban areas in many urban areas. For example, I suspect there are more HIV cases (per 1,000 members of the population) in rural North Carolina than, say, in urban areas like Boise or Minneapolis. The overall rate of HIV is less dependent on rural versus urban (or suburban) area than on the population characteristics.

Avatar f tn According to the dictionary a tumor is "a mass of abnormal tissue that resembles normal tissues in structure, but which fulfills no useful function." A lesion is a "pathological change in a bodily tissue." (Concise Medical Dictionary). Sounds pretty similar to me. When I use the terms at work I use lesion when it's a flat area of damage and tumor when it's more of a bump/lump. Not sure if that's accurate but that's what I think of.
