Music is one of the things that can really set me off. I quit listening to Tori Amos because of it. I love her songs but I always end up in a really bad place. When I am in a bad place her songs come to mind. I listen to Christian Contemporary or Country. The lyrics you can sing along with and they usually don't make me cry. Some country songs can be pretty depressing too though so I have to watch.

Hey all. I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.

HI your ding great I know it dont seam that way but having your emotions come back on line so soon is a great sign just go with the flow a sad song will make you cry nothe other hand your baby doing something funny will make you laff your emotions arwe no longer dead you have to take the good the bad and the ugly but once you learn how to process them life will smooth out a bit just be glad you can feel again this is a big step to getting well I will keep you in my prayers keep pushing firward y

Im so sorry that this happen to u my boyfriend left me too.U cant sit around and be sad or depress it can effect the baby so just try and keep ur self busy.one of the ways I kept my sale busy was reading to my baby and singing different songs to my baby.

well had a fight with my bf but thats nothing new..but the weather gets me down and all i feel like doing is listening to sad songs and making myself cry...does any one else feel like this??? i do suffer with depression...but always more in the winter and rainy seasons..

There are certain songs that literally make me sob when I hear them! And it's never been like that. Not sobbing at least! Crazy pregnancy hormones! So I'm curious (and currently incapable of sleeping). Any of you ladies experience the same thing? Which song(s) makes you cry? Songs, movies, seeing beautiful moments out in public like parents with kids, kids playing and laughing, sad stories on the news... everything is making me cry. Lol I had a moment in the car today and couldnt control my feelings when I heard that song from PINK- PERFECT .. my boyfriendwas cconfused.. I was having a really rough day feeling some sort of self pity and started to wonder if I could keep going on this long road and I remembered that when I first went through detox and the hard W/D's the first time(I had a huge set back for those that don't know me) and there were two songs that made me feel like I could conqure anything..that being me again clean and sober WAS possible..

m trying to avoid any films that will make my cry like Lassie or Watership Down. Yesterday my partner almost make my cry because he's been offered a puppy in need of new home and I had to say no. Its silly I know but cant control the tears. And I can't sleep at night. I think too much about baby and family and everything else. Shows like Intervention and Dog the Bounty Hunter make me cry for those people and gave me a look into my own life. A few songs too like the one by Creed "with arms wide open" changed my life especially the part "I hope she's not like me" and Dancing with Cindarella made so much impact on me. m 31 weeks and just started getting super emotional lately. Movies make me cry, commercials make me cry, I have to switch the radio station when I hear certain songs lol. My baby shower is in 2 weeks and I'm probably going to cry there too!

t know a lot about the movie well it made me cry about 3 times it was so sad and i usually dont cry at movies til i got pregnant so just a heads up What other movies have yall watched recently that made you cry when you didn't think it would?

When ever Jack dies I cry so hard & make a fool of myself! Funny thing is, because that movie touches me every time my little boy is going to be named Dawson after Jack Dawson! :') couldnt resist!

I am not depressed, sad or unhappy but I cry at the drop of a hat. A sad movie, a sad story, a happy story I cry buckets. I have been like this since I started betaseron 8 months ago. Now I know that a rare side effect can be severe depression but like I say I am not depressed. We actually laugh about it and people that know avoid telling me anything touching. Is anyone else like this?
