Avatar f tn And you may think (by seeing my pictures) that I would be the last person who listens to jazz. To be honest, I do not have a single jazz CD; however, there are days when my wife and I are just laying on the bed and I will turn the radio to NPR and there are these SONGS these very RELAXING songs by people I have never heard of. They are so easy to meditate and relax to. You should all try it if you have not before.
619345 tn?1310341421 Just type in any song that was ever played, and see what happens. Then, following the end of the song, it will keep playing songs of the same era forever.
11873380 tn?1424860072 m 17 weeks and decided to start playing music for my babies and I play smooth jazz. I notice that when I play jazz when my babies are active at night, they can down. And sometimes when I play it and rub my belly in a certain spot both babies gather at that one spot. It's so adorable. Do any of you play music for your babies and if so, what kind of music do you play?

Avatar m tn Robert Wyatt in his first three albums with the Soft Machine was a phenomenal talent, and his voice has rarely ever been equalled in the music world, as well as the avant garde progressive jazz/ psychedelic rock songs that the group created. Sadly they soon re-organized, and drifted into unfocused directions, never achieving anything close to their initial works. I don't know if your nick name has any intentional relationship, but that is the history anyway!
Avatar m tn yes ,I am toning down a bit w tx .
674607 tn?1240017232 More along my lines. I like to listen to something depressing such as anything by Nick Drake or Syd Barrett and work those feelings out. Then having gotten over them I move on. I tend to listen to cheerier music when I am hypomanic. Its only recently after recovery from psychosis that I am aware of it but the music I listen to matches the affect I am in. As for Pink Floyd I know as a kid growing up, that half of the kids when they felt angry at the world listened to "The Wall".
4902332 tn?1360761227 So ive recently started crying over everything! Movies, Songs, Seeing family. . Everything lol. If I'm talking to my partner and he gives me good or bad news I break down into tears . I just can't control myself lol.
Avatar f tn I am now really worried about Jazz! She went misssing for 3 days. She will sometimes do this so I wasn't too concerned. But, when she showed up her "breakaway" collar was under one arm! She was acting all crazy! Running from one corner of the closet to under the bed. ( which makes me think she is going to poop soon on the run like she does) I was able to cuddle w/her on the couch for a bit. Checked her out to see if she was hurt anywhere.

5536886 tn?1455827346 One of my triggers is sirens on emergency vehicles. I totally have a panic attack and flashbacks and all that jazz when it happens. (PSTD type stuff.) The way that I handle this trigger is I take a deep breath and remind myself that it's not happening all over again. As far as just getting triggered, where I'm really sad, I allow myself to feel it for 20 minutes, and then move on to a different activity to distract myself. It's really all just about coping skills.
5141429 tn?1379904822 I don't know what songs he's singing but I like his songs too. This will be my first concert and I'm 19, its sad to say haha.
228686 tn?1211554707 ) Ella is a big, black Goddess who deserves to be worshipped. My favorite female jazz vocalist is Ernestine Anderson, who did a great album with the title song; "You never make your move to soon." I just came across a you tube clip of Lou Armstrong and Dean Martin doing a medley of songs together which is so great it makes you laugh!!! Starbucks is insidious with music.
