So everyone knows a song can heal the soul. I am making a playlist for my iPad to get me through my recovery, keep me motivated, and remind me where I was and where I am gonna be. So far on my list ( I have listened to all of these every day since may last pill 4 days ago) 1. Cry out to Jesus by third day - for my spiritual fix. 2. Hey all. I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.

Gosh, I have so many favorites! What DON'T I like? Let's see, I like "Always on my mind", I heard he wrote that for Priscilla, it's so sad. He truly loved her. Um, I like "Can't help falling in love", "In the Ghetto", "I did it my way", "Tell me why", and of course I loved all his gospel songs, especially "Amazing grace" and "How great Thou art". I have his whole collection of albums.

And he does not seem to think for himself. His conversations are broken and littered with lines from books, songs, and tv. They do not make sense. He can't finish a thought. It may be best to just make a clean break. To be his friend and be hurt like this is not worth it. Sometimes we can be friends with an ex, but not always. You need time away from him to heal. Maybe if you weren't his friend, and he couldn't see you, he may realize how much he misses you, and want to reconcile. Trust me on one thing, someday you will see and understand that this happened for a reason, and for the better. Try to stay busy, and don't see him.

I liked "Can't find my way home". I had actually heard it before. I didn't care for "Judas". Which is odd because I like almost all of her other songs. I am actually listening to "The edge of glory" as I type this.

that totally sux hun soo sorry!!! for my first break up I dealt with it by going out with some else im still.with him 5years later but that's how I dealt with it!..the pain doez go away!!! ohhh and yes dont stress out it does cause harm to the baby my doc who is a specialist said mind is very powerfull and stress can cause you to lose the baby. my best friend lost her bf in a car accident she was 23weeks and she lost the baby.

I have wondered more than once if other people have recovery songs as I am always looking for new ones. You have any? List them here and I will compile a list .

Drifta, I'm sorry you've had a break up. You have your whole life ahead of you. Keep your head up and keep smiling....but it's ok to be sad at the moment, I hope you have people to talk to. Our hearts do feel funny when we are upset, but just to be on the safe side, I would describe what you're feeling to a doctor. They will know if its the normal feelings or something else.

Ok, this may sound stupid, especially for people in there 30's or 40's but it sure works for me. There is a rock band out, very popular called Three Days Grace. The story goes: Adam Gontier, the lead singer of the band went through major drug problems (oxycontin) during his 1st album. He realized his problem and checked himself into Rehab. During rehab he wrote lyrics for his w/d and depression he was going through to put into their newest albums.

Music moves the soul... and can get baby grooving while still in the womb, too! I thought it'd be fun to see what everyone listens to and list their favorite bands and songs. I'm always looking for more bands and music in the genres I like to listen to and it's always fun to see who listens to what because sometimes it can be surprising (like most people assume I like pop by looking at me but I actually rock out to alternative Christian music).
