There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).

I bet any song badly sung will make you cringe later. Remember that william hung from american Idol? lol That just made me think of him, too funny! And why do they always put karaoke in bars? Drunk people are the worst singers ever! well I guess I would need a shot too to have the cajones to get up there and sing!

I am trying to put together a little book of positive notes for my sad days. Do any of you have songs that help you get through the tough days or quotes? I just want something I can keep with me whenever things get tough. I really want to go home, or atleast go outside.

HI your ding great I know it dont seam that way but having your emotions come back on line so soon is a great sign just go with the flow a sad song will make you cry nothe other hand your baby doing something funny will make you laff your emotions arwe no longer dead you have to take the good the bad and the ugly but once you learn how to process them life will smooth out a bit just be glad you can feel again this is a big step to getting well I will keep you in my prayers keep pushing firward y

I have personally always loved classical because just bcause there are no lyrics, it still tells a story. You can "feel" the expression. The ups and downs, the good and bad. I wish I would have paid more attention to its history in music class :\ But I have days where I put it on and it is quite relaxing. And just because you can appreciate all kids of music doesn't make you "uncool", I just makes you more diverse.

Suggest you stay off whatever makes you sad. There's an infinite amount of other music you can try. Good that you have recognised what 'sets you off'. You have the cure in your own hands. Nothing wrong in not wanting to be a rock star. Good Luck.

Lol I have noticed songs have been getting to me when their not even sad!!

Its so sad that Freddy Mercury passed. He was so great. I have been listening to another one that I loved..(but I love all his songs actually) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxbFLYa0_bw There's also some last interview videos on utube that are worth watching. I enjoyed watching the videos but its still sad. But the nice thing about recordings, we always have a part of that person to enjoy and he still lives on in our lives whenever we listen to his recordings.

Do you cry easy?....I know that our brainstems being elongated can add to this, but I am wondering how many have this problem.

well had a fight with my bf but thats nothing new..but the weather gets me down and all i feel like doing is listening to sad songs and making myself cry...does any one else feel like this??? i do suffer with depression...but always more in the winter and rainy seasons..

There are certain songs that literally make me sob when I hear them! And it's never been like that. Not sobbing at least! Crazy pregnancy hormones! So I'm curious (and currently incapable of sleeping). Any of you ladies experience the same thing? Which song(s) makes you cry? Songs, movies, seeing beautiful moments out in public like parents with kids, kids playing and laughing, sad stories on the news... everything is making me cry. Lol I had a moment in the car today and couldnt control my feelings when I heard that song from PINK- PERFECT .. my boyfriendwas cconfused..
