Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.

Its so sad. Hate is a generational thing and kids learn it from their parents, then pass it on to their kids. So sad to see and hear such innocents saying such awful things. But it is reality now. The terrorists do recruit them young and train them with so much hate that they become programmed. Terrible. Yes, I believe in good and evil. I just wonder how much is nature and how much is nurture. I never can come to a conclusion about that issue. Perhaps a bit of both?

I found these poems back in November when my best friends baby died at 6 months old........ What Makes a Mother I thought of you all, I closed my eyes and prayed to God today. I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard Him say, A Mother has a baby. This we know is true. But God can you be a Mother when your baby's not with you?"Yes you can!", He replied with confidence in His voice, "I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice.

My biggest fear is of POEMS Syndrome, which my father succummed to in August 2005 after 8 painful years. Can POEMS be hereditary? Should I see my primary care doctor or endo with my concerns? I am scared o death but have not mentioned anything to my husband or mom because I don't want to alarm them unnecessarily.

it sounds like depression. You should always think of happy thoughts because being depressed/ stredssing can lead to other health problems. In life we have to live kearn and accept things for what they are because we can't change back time. Always love yourself 1st unconditionally and do not allow any1 or anything to bring you down. You are a very special person and you need to accept how great you are.

Some swing at the walls, some hide from the world, some write poems, some cry, some swear, some do unlikely acts and some actually thank God.

It's a sad thing when the Commander in Chief exposes our soldiers to unnecessary risks. The rules of engagement are endangering our soldiers and inhibiting their ability to do their job. I'll say it again. Civilians should not be dictating battle tactics. Generals should be allowed to do their job. It's a sad day when our President doesn't have a problem with putting our soldiers in such unnecessary danger. What's next?

I just love to be out in the sun and never try to use any protection apart from some olive oil, why as a young child my Uncle and Aunt never used any sunscreens and we just followed suit with them, why my Uncle was a Japanese prisner of war, worked out in the hot sun never any protection and as a child always out in the sun it was the way he and my Aunt was brought up, again never any protection, then this was before the second world war.

The sad part is I was there six months ago but I messed up thinking I could use occasionally and that was a lie I have to be able to fuction I have 3 kids and a sick mom to take care of and i cant tell them I fell again I want to do this like say over 4 wks and then to a few vicodin so i wont loose my job its the will power and staying strong that I need most

It is a tragedy and it is so very sad...people wonder why war is an ongoing business...how can we get along with other countries and cultures when we can't even get along with our next door neighbors and killing is rampant in the streets with no regard for the innocent lives that are being taken, here, everyday??
